Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

Someone tried to add the helmet

His suit looks like a sort of Aquaman's armour with Thor's cape.

Maybe Beck was inspired by the flying guy with the hammer. After all, Homecoming is partially built off of the Battle of New York. Perhaps, to provide even more connective tissue, Mysterio received costume inspiration from Thor.

If the fishbowl looks that good on the costume, then I can die happy.

Exactly. The one in the leaked drawing looks like someone literally took a fishbowl and placed it on top of the armor. I prefer a "wider" fishbowl. Something that looks like a fishbowl so the joke makes sense but is not so blatantly...Fishbowly :hehe:

This isn't the first time we've had to wait a long-ass time for a Spidey trailer. Anyone remember how long it took for that second TASM1 trailer to come out?

Now THERE'S a throwback! The TASM era. I missed the build-up to the first movie, but lead-up to the sequel is what led me here. The Spider-Forum was a wild place back in those days!

The lead up to TASM1 was mainly just arguments about the Raimi movies at its core. 1 camp hated them and felt anything the reboot did had to be better and camp 2 loved them and despised TASM from the start for replacing it. It was not really very fun.

Nor was watching TASM...huzzah!!! :o

That's what it's all about, the build up! I still say we don't see a trailer until late January.

Sony is not in the place financially to be sabotaging any of their movies. Lol
Imagine that being proposed at a board meeting. :cwink:

I can just see the faces of large investors on hearing the word sabotage.

That's a good helmetless look.

If the whole movie has Beck seeming like a good guy and he either turns bad or is revealed to be bad at the end then "the whole movie was just a trailer for the third movie" (leveled a lot against TASM2) would be a valid reaction. Maybe even if he's revealed to be bad only in the last ten minutes and there's a fight and his story is kind of but not really wrapped up.

Isn't it likely that this movie would be a trailer for the third film anyway? If just by virtue of the fact that Keaton will be back and they're probably leading into a Sinister Six battle?

The difference would be that TASM2 felt like nothing but setup to TASM3/S6, whereas Far from Home presumably wouldn't set up a third film till a mid or post credits scene. I can't see Vulture appearing for much more than a credits cameo tbh.

Trailer got classified ages ago, so what the hell is Sony waiting for? There better not be behind-the-scenes issues, I swear to god...

can't wait for sony to completely give everything away in the trailer including endgame :funny:

If there were anything wrong with the movie itself, there probably would've been a report that it was being delayed a while ago. I think the trailer being delayed is just a result of Sony rethinking their marketing launch and nothing more.
