I know I will. But If you haven't played Spider-Man ps4 yet, there's an improvement on MJ's character in the game if you ask me.

And I don't have anything against Michelle, I like her. I'd just prefer Mary Jane.

Based on the trailer, it almost looks like Mysterio is fighting the water monster. So, I'm gonna guess that he shows up, pretending to save the city from these two monsters, but they are really his projections.

I think, in retrospect, it would have been easier in the long run had they just made her Mary Jane and not Michelle 'something', especially if they're insisting on calling her MJ. It just looks like they don't have a clear direction for her.

The changes to all the supporting characters still bother me (Betty Brandt especially), but I can learn to live with it. What I can’t wrap my head around is why they didn’t just name Zendaya Mary Jane if she’s going to be this world’s MJ. It’s such a weird choice.

i agree. thats some of the things that still bother me to this day, and I've voiced my complaints about that (among other things), but I've learned to accept that it's what they are going for with the MCU Spider-Man. I liked homecoming, but i definitely think the supporting cast is the weakest aspect and that will probably be the case here. The MJ thing still frustrates me a bit, but the best thing to do is try to look past the changes and accept them for what they are even if we don't agree with those choices as for what should be a Spider-Man film. I've accepted it, and I think this is just their way of fitting Spideys universe into the MCU.

All in all, I think Far From Home is gonna be good and I can't wait to see more of mysterio!

Yes, I do just wish they had named Zendaya's Michelle Mary Jane. I like the characterization, and her banter with Peter, but it's just a strange thing they opted for. She's MJ but not MJ.

In any case, this movie looks great. Loved everything about the trailer. Can't wait to see it

Indeed. I've just attempted to learn more about these Elementals, and all I can find out is that their leader is the fire one (you'd think it the hydro one) and that they're ultimately defeated by Captain Marvel.

I'm not sure the FFH Elementals are supposed to be an adaptation of the Elementals from the comics... I think they just share the same name. I could be wrong, though.

Haven’t seen this mentioned yet, but I’m happy to see that May seems to be supporting/working at a homeless shelter. Really like that her and Peter are using Spider-Man to help people that way too.

I presume so? In any case, they seemingly pose enough of a threat that a web slinger wouldn't be able to deal with alone. I'd have thought someone like Carol, Stark, or even Strange or Wanda would be more … skilled to tackle something like this.

Trailer was solid. I kind of like the dynamic with May and Peter along with the work at the homeless shelter. And presumably Mysterio's 'creations' look good. Should create some fun challenges.

The supporting cast outside of May is...just ok. Ned is Ned. He's goofy, but hey he's trying to help as best he can. And honestly funny watching him get KO'd by a dart. Michelle's character is consistent. Maybe this movie will be the one to really get me to care about her character. She's good for awkward/snarky kind of humor. Which doesn't quite hit for me, but sure it works for others.

Movie should be ok.

Hate: Taking the teeth out of Avengers Endgame. Everyone is back as if nothing happened and Happy saying Peter is all alone means there's no Tony Stark to call.... damn you Sony.

Loved the trailer. Regarding the Elementals, while more than likely they are just illusions or whatever (since we're dealing with Mysterio) wasn't there a leaked Lego set info that specifically called out Hydro-Man and Molten Man in those sets?
