Semi-related by how in hel does venom has a higher mayoan score than endgame. So thousands of Chinese people saw both endgame and venom and went "yeah venomw better".

I know, i know different tastes but seriously what the hel?

Wow! Looks like 200m is in play. Spidey is about to join the billion dollars club.
Gosh...if only there was a forum full of believers who have been calling that for months. ;)

Our faith has been rewarded. He's not the hero we deserve, but he's the one we need right now.

Wait...what?

Here we go! This is where a large part of the extra push required to get to a billion can come from.
Yup. The China guys at BOT have it coming in at about $105 million for the weekend. 200 isn’t locked yet because China, but it’s looking very good.

It seems it will land between Civil War ($180,8 mil) and Age of Ultron ($240,1 mil).

$200 mil isnt a lock yet but $175 mil definately is.

I’m so happy to see these numbers. Can’t wait for Tuesday, I’ve remained spoiler free which is rare for me lol.

It's probably not going to get to 100 million but that's still a great start. Hopefully it has decent legs and can get to 200 million. Regardless it's a pretty good increase from Homecoming.

Gavin pumping the brakes just a touch, still great numbers tho.

Still like a 26 million increase compared to HC. I said before this movie will make a billion with easy. HC made like 850 million even though it was the second reboot in a short time and even though it was comming off spiderman 3 and amazing spiderman 1-2 movies that were mostly considered ok/bad. People loved HC and it got people over the whole being a reboot thing. China looks to being having a big increase and that is just one place and going from like 850 million to 1 billion WW is not really that crazy of a increase. Spiderman 3 made 880 with a smaller internation market and with out 3d and lower over all ticket prices. If spiderman 3 just had 3d it may have made a billion and that dont even include the increase OS and increase in ticket prices. Spiderman 3 and amazing spiderman 1-2 did a lot of damaged. If a spiderman movie that is like 12 years old could have made a billion with just having 3d than a billion for a spiderman movie should be a lock now days.

Thanks. Sounds like it will be enough to help FFH to make the jump to a billion plus overall.

The rate of change in these numbers is amazing.

About time Spidey hit the billion dollar club. Hopefully the legs are decent and that holds.

Yes. China exploded from 2012 and onwards.
It makes the billion dollar mark a lot easier to reach than it once was. Other Asian markets have also grown fast and will continue to grow much faster than mature western markets. Also a bonus that Spidey and the MCU seem to be very popular there.
