Comics Spider-Man February 2007 Solicitations

yay..
but only yay because eddie wil lbe back in the picture
nay for peter even considering the black suit...buyt then again.. it might not be the symbiote.... actually... it likely isnt at all.... all the same...

Well, like you said, black suit doesn't mean symbiote, and that doesn't necessarily mean Eddie.

Alternate Uncle Ben will probably be used to convey how Sandman was Uncle Ben's real killer. It's no coincidence that wrapping up the alternate Ben story and the appearance of Sandman happens in the same issue of FRIENDLY.

Just like it's no coincidence that Peter David wrote the novelisation of SPIDER-MAN 3, so quite more then anyone at Marvel has a grasp of what happens in the film therefore is in prime position to mimic/reflect it.

This about it.

Aloha,
You get it.

Wow...another "Life-changing event"!!

Wake me up when solid storytelling resumes, and put me down for SSM and MAYBE Spider-Man: Family.

FNSM and ASM are still on the s***-list.

39 is a good age to have amassed the full run of ASM.
I hope I get there, we'll see in 12 years..

I had finally gotten my complete set of Amazing Spider-Man's in 2001 just shortly after my 34th birthday.

I was able to get a poor conditioned ASM #2 on ebay for an affordable price.

:yay:

I knew someone had to come up with a pithier comment than I could, but I never suspected.... :yay:

If someone wants to post the better versions without the banner tomorrow, feel free as I'll probably be gone.

And thanks to gliderpilotgirl, who provided the link for these in the USM thread :).

your welcome. :)
Seriously..I haven't anticipated an issue of USM ever as much. This issue is going to make or break my commitment to USM.

Yeah, it looks to be good. The trade should certainly be big enough for anyone that buys those, it'll be 9 issues long including extras no doubt.

Don't pick Spider-Woman Pete, SHE'S YOU!!! :woot::woot:

Oooooh Spider-Man Reign is gonna have some Octopus in it. Sweeeeeeeet :D

And it looks like MJ is back to normal in USM, and making her way back into Peter's heart. Good stuff. Those who feared she would be a permanent Goblin can relax now.

Don't pick MJ either, you'll umask yourself!!!!

"Collecting SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #32-61 and ANNUALS #1-3"

Wow... and volume 1 collected issues 1 to 31....

:whatever:

Black suit looks like cloth. Guess it's not the symbiote he's wearing then.

wouldnt make sense if he went to the symbiote though..in all honesty

And since when are Marvel known for doing stories that make sense with Spidey lately?? ;)

i dont know... i dont see why the comics need to tie into the movies really... unless venom comes back... spidey becomes the spidey we love..wise cracks and with his intellignece intact... removes himself ffrom the avengers..for the time being at least.. then i wont be happy.

id like to see some classic stories where the ff, capn a, wolverine and the rest of the marvel U arent involved...

Updated cover for FNSM #17:
spider-man-20061113053016613.jpg

I have never liked Ringo at all (hated when he was on sensational) but this has to be the worst.... Ringo drawing..... EVER.

I have confidence Regin will be one of the best Spidey stories told in a looooooooooong time.
