The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Gets a Set of Parents and Another Villain

he sounds so disrespectful to comics in general :/

*thumbs down*

As long as his performance is top-notch, I really don't care what he says.

As stupid as it is.

"Is that his name? These science-fiction names."

Word. I'm not foolish enough to believe that every actor/actress is enthusiastic about every part they take. Should he have said something different? Yes, but I frankly don't care as long as he performs.

These science-fiction names don't mean a lot to me
Strange comment, not many people do know anything about the character, and since he only got a few pages of the script he must not either. How much positivity can you show when they are hiding the background information of the character from you. He knows he is playing a character that is not well known and maybe that's his way of rising above it and saying "Is that his name? These science-fiction names don't mean a lot to me" I know it's a **** character and I don't give a ****.

You don't do training for action. You're waiting for action. You just strap yourself into a harness and go.

I can understand this comment since he is a Bollywood actor so it wouldn't surprise me if they don't give much training when he shoots movies. There quality of action is over the top, everything is done to the extreme and with wires, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0suqt8JI1aM.

Don't have any doubts though, he is a good actor, his part will be done well. I'm just feeling iffy about this character, two monster type villains in one movie, I don't know.
I hope Green Goblin isn't transormed Ultimate Goblin.

a) an actor oblivious to comics who brings his A-game to the performance

vs

b) a comic geek who hams up the stage

I know which one I would rather see.
he doesn't know proto-goblin? so what? I've been a spidey fan most of my life and I've never heard of the character (P-G) until this week.

Proto-Goblin? If they do use him, I can honestly say didn't see that one coming. Nor do I think ANYONE.

This would indicate Hulk-goblin down the line...unfortunately for mankind :(

it doesn't exactly mean we'll definatley get the hulk goblin.....
they could perfect the formula after they realise they ****ed up with proto goblin

I have to say, of all the villains they could have used, of all the ideas... Proto Goblin??

It's still bugging the crap out of me. Maybe when I see the Spider-Man costume I'll feel better... hopefully.

It doesn't exactly mean we'll definitely get Proto-Goblin. Can everyone stop and realize this?

Christ, they could have used Electro or Kraven, but NO, they HAD to go with this ****ing guy. Proto-Goblin

i find it ironic that instead of picking a well known villian (if proto is in of course) or someone that could offer something exciting visually they went with someone so random that even fans here had no clue who he was :D

is that a first for the hype boards ?

I really think that this Van Adder is just a scientist side character with queestionable intentions. I can see him because a bit more cruel than Dr. Connors.

I am really losing you guys here. I think Proto-Goblin could be one of the BEST moves made.

If they use him, they are already setting up Norman Osborn as both bastard and the Goblin.

That's quality character development to develop a character as the villain BEFORE his movie!

I think it's smart.

But they might not even be using Proto-Goblin...

Van Adder FTW!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG YES!

No, but seriously, who exactly is Van Adder?

Edit: nvrm, Google told me. Well this Proto-Goblin villain was a bit unexpected, but I am not worried, cause with a good script and acting, this will turn out great! So, no complaints here.:)

You can read here about this villain, it seems he had ties with some of the Stacys & Osborn:
