The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Gets a Set of Parents and Another Villain

Personally wouldn't be surprised if the Lizard will be another failure of the goblin serum. With proto-goblin.

He probably is a small villain similar to Joe Chill in Batman Begins.

This made me laugh so hard
How so? He probably won't have much screentime like Joe.

Joe Chill is important but he isn't on screen very long. That's what I meant. :)

Will this be a villain spidey fights and defeats in the beginning of the movie,a Goblin without any high tech weapons.

We'll know in a week or so, right? They start shooting on Monday.

The way I imagined it was in the screentime he had as when he shot his parents.

I can't imagine The Lizard being used for 2 minutes...it was funny. :p

Uck...if the goblin serum does that to Van Adder then that means that Norman will become Hulk Goblin :(

This is the Goblin form of Carnage and Venom

Thats not entirely true. And a prototype rarely shows the end product. Norman may not like the Hulk look and change it to reflect the classic look.

(Assuming they use my idea)

Don't really like the idea of Julianne Nicholson as Peter's mother. When she cuts her hair short (like she did in Criminal Intent) she looks like a toothy, freckled boy.

I LOVE the idea of a Proto-goblin villain leading into the Green Goblin. I'm getting a very 'Batman Beginnish' feel from the film...'lesser' villains to lead into the Big Guns.

If we get Hulk Goblin, my head will explode with anger. I hate Hulk Goblin.

I wouldnt mind a combination of the two - Have Norman transform, but still need some armor/costume padding and the glider/weapons.

Thats the way I like Goblin. The mask and suit is just too 60's (yes, I went there) A mix is my personal liking.

Like a dr.Jeckyl Mr.Hyde type of character.

Van Atter means nothing imo, guy could well be Kraven, ya never know.

I like that we get to see Pete's parents and what happened to them. Also I think it's good to have proto goblin

^^^ The Proto-Goblin thing isn't confirmed yet. Just speculation.

Half confirmed, half speculation.

It's like saying "Edward Nigma is gonna be in the new Batman movie" Well, there was no confirmation that he is The Riddler but it's heavily implied.

(Btw, I KNOW The Riddler has been deconfirmed, dont start that lol"

Campbell Scott as Pete's dad? Woah!

As for the villain, nice touch. Adding a completely unknown villain as cannon fodder to Spidey while building towards the Goblin Saga (probably).
