Confirmed suits so far (because they were kind enough to give us a 2 for 1 here):

-Advanced suit
-Classic suit
-Noir suit
-Spider-Punk suit
-Iron Spider suit (IW)
-Homemade suit (HC)

And I'm willing to bet the suit on the wrestling poster in Peter's apartment is in the game under "Wrestling suit" or maybe even "The Spider"

Ooh, the Infinity War Iron Spider looks great! Can't wait for more. I put in my pre-order this week, so I'm all set!

So officially:

- no fall damage

- no Baxter building

- suit damage in specific story sequences to communicate the severity of the situation

- no access to the Statue of Liberty

- you can't spin around in a loop by holding on a web line, regardless of velocity

- multiple difficulty settings

- no day/night cycle, switches in weather and time of day are motivated by the story BUT once you finish the story, you can manually pick the weather and time of day

- new game plus unconfirmed

- Jameson's radio show is the only thing you'll hear from the radio, no other channels

- no web pits at any point of the game

- Intihar played coy about E3 when asked. Seems like they have a big show planned, game informer guys asked if new gameplay will be shown and Intihar commented "I think everyone would be pretty disappointed if we showed fans the same thing that we showed to you guys"

Okay, a few of those things really suck-- particularly there being no day/night cycle.

Well, that's disappointing. What a turnoff.

These are massively disappointing.

Those are disappointing.

Those are disappointing.

By new game plus unconfirmed I meant that it's yet to be resolved. To this question Intihar answered something like "you'll see". But on the other hand, I don't know why they wouldn't just confirm it either way. I'm leaning more on the side that it has new game plus

If it does, I hope it's more to the unlimited side like Web of Shadows and [PROTOTYPE].

That's very sad. Especially when you compare this high tech state of the art game which lacks all these essential elements that the 16 year oldSpider-Man 2 game had all of those features.

Fall damage doesn't make sense with the game set 8 years after Peter got bit. You'd think he has enough experience to not crash into the ground face first while swinging.

And I'm all for having a daytime / weather selection after the story, I disliked the way TASM2 did it (random condition upon leaving your home). That way we get the best of both worlds, people who want to exclusively play at night or during rain have the option to do so.
It was clear from the begin anyways that there'd be no proper day/night cycle or dynamic weather.

That doesn't make him magically invulnerable, if you as a player manage to fall 10 stories, without catching your fall.

One time while I was playing Spider-Man 3 I failed a side plot mission and decided to do something else, trapped inside the frame of the Daily Bugle, the only way out was fall damage.

And besides, it's still fun to have the option to kill him by dropping him from great heights.

10 stories can be done without fall damage, 11 stories and higher is where fall damage should take effect.

I honestly don't feel either way about those confirmations, I guess day and night cycle would've been nice. My concern is more that his move set sometimes makes him look like he is a puppet on strings

Like in the Spider-Man 2 game when I jump off the Empire State Building I want to FEEL the rush of it and with no fall damage that thrill is gone.

Am I the only one having fear of The Green Goblin -- should he appear -- being more Ultimate-inspired than anything else?

I always loved that about all three of the Treyarch open world games. :D

I guess. Only adaptions to use Ultimate Goblin design have the word Ultimate in their title, and with that in mind, even the cartoon gave him bombs and a glider.

Bolded all the disappointing bits for me lol. But I'm most bummed about lack of Baxter Building. That's such a Marvel staple, and I don't wanna hear "oh we didn't want to use that because Marvel Comics still didn't want any mention of the FF anywhere because of Fox" Such bull. I'm sure if they started working on this game today it'd probably make its way in there.

Looks good but the Homecoming suit would get me more excited. I really hope that is in.

I hope this is in:

A recently revealed "Collector's Box" available only at Gamestop

Pretty neat. The two mystery items are intriguing.

The one on the left is obviously a hand (I'm thinking web shooter). I've seen some people suggest the other one is a pumpkin bomb which would be nuts. But that would also mean they are going to reveal Goblin as part of the marketing, which I hope doesn't happen (assuming he's in the game)

So, I went ahead and preordered the digital version of the game. I've never preordered a digital game before...On the day of release, when is the game available for download? Is it a set time for all games or does it vary from one game to the next?

A lot of games have preloads. So you can download it early, unlock it at midnight and have it ready to play at that time.
