Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

One thing I think we will see before the game is out besides reviews is news about when the first store that never sleeps dlc will come out and some more details about it.

One thing I really hope to have in this game is a Stan Lee role, perhaps as a comic store owner like in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game.

They could also have him be a pedestrian we can take a picture with and interact with. He's gotta have some sort of role in this game.

JJJs voice sounds like Bryan Cranston with a sprinkle of JK Simmons.

Early peek at Mark Bagley's variant cover for Spider-geddon #0, he draws the heck out of this suit.

That new trailer with JJJ was great, really feels like they get what Spidey's about.

I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever been this excited for the release of any one game. Cannot wait to just....immerse myself in this.

Not sure if people have seen this....information concerning swinging technique....

Plus this is ESSENTIAL viewing BUT for some, it may regard as containing spoilers. It's a intro video of the first 45 minutes of gameplay and introducing you to the pad layout and how to engage your enemies.

I'm not trying to type hyperbole or blasphemy but...frankly, I think the MCU could learn a thing or two from Insomniac's iteration of Spider-Man. (Even if this Spider-Man is later in his career.)

For me, the MCU have got Spider-Man / Parker right but his 'world' is all wrong to date, but obviously, there is years to build it, and I enjoyed Homecoming but the 'tech' suit and MJ changes and a built in 'killer' option ? Errr...no, not my Spider-Man and agreed, this game seems to have a sound balance of mythos & solid foundations in contemporary too.

Looks to me like his art is top quality again. His work on DC Trinity and the Death of Spider-Man are not his best work.

So what length or the game are we looking at here?

Main story
Side quests
Collectibles

30 hours? 50?

After watching the newest trailer I personally can't wait for the pigeon man missions. The Oscorp research station had a blurb on it that said "pigeon vaccine" lol, so we're definitely getting a side quest where Spidey helps pigeons. Are pigeons the new balloons?

I think the best cbm franchise in the world doesnt need lessons from anyone

I dont know but game should have a lot of replay value has it sounds like the game has something similar to Arkham games challenge maps and those added so much replay vaule. Playing ratchet and clank going commando right now trying to make it my 7th ratchet game beaten. I have loved the franchise sinces I first played crake in time my first game has I got into it late. But after having just beaten my 5th and 6th ones lately I think it is climping my list even more.

Damn, didn't realise it was so close.

Oh damn, it's just hitting me that the release date is rearing its head and I'm broke. And I just watched that "open world" trailer. Time for a diet, I guess, because I'm definitely buying this ASAP. :oldrazz:

I don't have a huge amount of expendable income so I've been putting money aside each week for it, it's around £45 round our way ($57 dollars) so I can get first day, the 7th, if they have any still in stock at 9am when I go in that is. :woot:

I'd wait a week or so until some people have completed it and sold it back to the shop so you can get a preowned copy cheaper. If it's in good condition you won't notice the difference.

I was reading one of the preview playthrough articles, I believe it was the one from Digital Trends, anyway, they stated that in the combat upgrades there's a perfect dodge that allows you to web an enemy's face immediately after dodging an attack. Sounds pretty awesome.

Then I found this article. Not sure if it's reliable but it lists maybe all of the upgrades you can do for Spider-Man in each of the 3 categories. It contains spoilers, obviously.
