Yes, we saw the perfect dodge in the 2017 demo. I was worried they cut that out of the game.

Ok. Cool. Yeah I wasn't quite sure if we'd heard about that game element yet or not. But I'm glad it's in there as well. I can remember having convos with other posters on here several years ago about game mechanics we'd like to see in a Spidey game. That was something that I think many people wanted...the ability to web specific areas of an enemy's body i.e. their face.
Were the upgrades in that link I posted also known back then during the demo?
I had read somewhere that they lost the license somehow. Here is One World Trade Center comparison someone made. The top image is from one of the new trailers and the bottom one is from old gameplay:

I wonder why they had to remove it from the game?

I don't get it, what's different?
The top part is completely different. It looks like a different building. You can see it better in the gameplay launch trailer at 0:21.I don't get it, what's different?
Whats the best version to get? Imma pre order tomorrow

They needed a license to put a building in a game?
The roof of the One World Trade Center is different in the top image.

Here's some new info on the villains we've seen so far (minus Silver Sable).
Yeah they need to get permission from the owner if they want to use a building. For example Ubisoft couldn't use Empire State Building in The Division. It looks like Insomniac/Sony had the license to use One World Trade Center because the building has appeared in many trailers. It was actually the first thing we saw in the 2016 reveal trailer. But now it looks like they had to remove it.

So they have to get a license for every single building in New York? Thats dumb. You shouldn't need permission to digitally recreate a city and its buildings. Sure if you wanted to have the building be the main location in a game or movie and that location was critical to profits then I could understand giving the building owner some of the profits, but just including a building in the New York background...that shouldn't require a damn license.
Plus, it's an entirely digital recreation in a video game. Not the actual building in the real world. How does the building owner have any right over a virtual recreation of a building?
