Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

Well over 20 hours. I think I played 20 hours on the first day alone. I only slept 2 hours on Thursday night and then got up for the game unlock on midnight. ='D And today, hmm... let's add at least another 7 to that. So around 27 hours, give or take. That's with clearing some additional side quests and combat challenges, but nothing of it even close to 100%.

I haven't played through a game for that long since MGS4 came out.

About the final fight

The only thing I hated about the otherwise amazing final fight, was being forced into that gimp suit Spidey costume. Like, whatever if it is still part of the story but I wish we had the option to keep whatever we were using already. I want to see a red/blue Spider-Man fight Ock. The suit literally did nothing special. Not like it made you actually faster or stronger. It is just a nitpick in an otherwise amazing game.

For the trophy hunters: Don't go all in with your tokens early on. You need loads of them to get the suits trophy + upgrades trophy. If you get too many upgrades you might end up between a rock and a hard place (requiring you to perfect challenges for more tokens). Had to learn the hard way earlier.

Yep. I just learned this the hard way too. Ughhhhh.

I think I saw a Raimi movie reference. A poster in the social feed said NYCWallCrawler "stinks and I don't like him!"

Seems legit to me.

I finished Act 1 though. But I'm confused...

About the final fight

That's a good point. I'm not sure if I missed something, but [SPOILER ALERT] when MJ said Peter Parker can beat him, he started crafting the suit, I forgot what the difference in the suits was. What was it?

I just found all the 50 secret photos along with the Platinum Trophy, both achievements resulted in a new unlocked suit each. I'm so glad you don't have to get "Ultimate" score on all the challenges. Does anybody know if there's an unlockable suit for achieving that though?

It becomes available to unlock at level 9, you'll just need some of the basic tokens from crimes, backpacks, etc. to unlock it.

Speaking of suits, y'all see the suit that guy wore in the Spider-Men side quest? I really want that suit, with the hands covered of course, but it's hilarious, I need it.

Apart from some inconsistencies in the distances webs catch, the swinging really is pretty great. It takes some real practice getting good at it, but once you get the hang of it, it's fun.

If feels very much like an updated version of Spider-Man 2's open world. Which is fantastic.

The story is good so far too. They've hit a lot of the emotional beats Spidey should.

Looking more into the story, it's not as bad as I thought while watching the Kingpin stuff, I actually like it more than I thought I would.

You can even see a ****ing zipper on the back, it's hilarious and works perfectly as a joke costume. I would just like to see the hands covered, but still, it would be funny as **** to wear.
