It irks me when ppl call that suit the Animated series suit. Probably the comic book nerd in me.

I mean they named it Vintage Comic right in the game! As soon as I saw it, I thought Romita Sr / Gil Kane / Ross Andru 70's era. Tbh even the Classic Suit was based off that era.

The real reason I point this out, it would be cool to actually release a Spectacular Spider-man Animated Series suit.

New game plus is coming soon, Insomniac has said they're working on it.

I'm hoping they're taking their time with New Game + because they're doing a What If mode instead. Bryan Intahar was asked about this mode before, and he said "I wish we thought of that".

Was just looking at some pics from photo mode on instagram, and I noticed that the Wrestling suit has Peter's old original design of the webshooters instead of the new ones. Really cool to see, and I appreciate the small details like that.

Miles Morales is the Scrappy Doo of Spider-man stories. And I downright hate this version of Mary Jane. Here are three small changes that would have greatly improved the story:

1: Get rid of Miles.
2: Keep the Mary Jane sections, but replace her with the classic 616 Mary Jane that the fans know and love.
3: The third playable character should have been Robbie Robertson. Think about it, he's one of Spider-man's best friends. He's drastically underused. Plus, he works at the Bugle, so there'd be no need for Mary Jane to work there.

You can disagree that this would make the story better, but you'd be wrong. Making Mary Jane work for the Bugle is a terrible, hacky idea, and it's just plain disrespectful to the source material.

It was a joke. What's arrogant is taking an iconic character that has stood the test of time and turning her into a Lois Lane clone.

The angle of MJ working as a journalist for the DB is pretty jarring. I've only ever known her as a model. First thing I thought of once I realized her role was Karen Page in Daredevil.

She had about the same amount of charisma. Mary Jane was definitely one of the weaker characters in the game.

Did you guys hear about that one funny detail they put in with the undies suit? How early in the game he mentions having only 3 chest hairs, then if you zoom in on his chest in the undies suit he really does only have 3 chest hairs. Talk about detail haha.

First off, Miles in this story was awesome. This Miles story should be judged on its own instead of bringing what people like or dislike from other forms. I don't understand what there was to dislike. Miles side of the story is part of what made the whole thing work. So I rightfully disagree with your opinion.

Because Jean is a better and more important character in the Spider-Man mythos and she's never been given much spotlight outside the comics.

No reason why Yuri couldn't have been replaced with a better and more important character.

Bryan Intahar said recently in a podcast that he chose both Yuri & Martin Li to give the audience a new experience, outside of the usual cast of characters we usually see. I understand, JD is also underused, but that's the thing, the same can be said for both characters. It's almost just a coin flip so why change it just to change it? Let's say JD had a more significant role in the comics, which she did, but what will she add to the game that Yuri lacks? A beret? I don't see the point

I admit that it is a pet peeve of mine as well.
I'd like to see the 60s cartoon costume make it here, with the 6 instead of 8 limbs.

I like Captain Watanabe Yuri, she's pretty cool. Dan Slott was a story consultant, so it affected their choice for the female police captain Spider-Man helps.

He was fine in this but he should only ever stay a regular person. The idea of Spidey having a sidekick, especially one with the same powers and look is beyond stupid to me and I will be surprised if I ever warm up to that in any media at all. The idea of killing Peter to replace him with Miles is just unforgivably stupid.
