Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

I haven’t played my ps4 or bought a new game in over a year. Think I might have to make an exception.
 
Just watching a few 'in-game' play vids on you tube from people's tv screens and the game traversal system is stunning, they have completely mastered it and seen it with a number of the suit changes and one in particular is just utterly :hmr: and needs to be seen to be visually appreciated. This is going to be SO special.

Battery will be worn out lasting long periods without being recharged, use your gamepad as often as possible so you won't have to buy a new one.

Thanks for the tip. Definitely not looking forward to the million software updates I’ll probably have when I turn it back on.

I'm actually kinda glad there was a holiday in there that delayed the embargo lift. So many awesome reviews that my excitement for this game is somehow even higher--didn't think that was possible lol. In just a mere 60 hours I'll be playing Marvel's Spider-Man!
 
I'm really satisfied with the variety of suits in this game and I'm all for the new suits as well. That animated one looks so fun!
 
There's a free exclusive theme you can get now on your PS4 til September 7th with art by Marko Djurdjevic (been a while since he drew anything Marvel) at the countdown to launch page. Marvel's Spider-Man

The art is nice, has 2 villains we know about but be advised it probably depicts a boss battle in the game if you don't wanna see that.
 
So I am starting to really worry tomorrow is only a hour and 34 minutes and than it will be wed just 2 days before the game comes out and my collectors edition is still saying Awaiting Authorization sure hope I get it by friday. I dont own a lot of art books but I am thinking about maybe buying the art book for this and maybe ratchet and clank being that I love those games to. The wait is getting really hard for this game now.
 
The game is downloading to my PS4 now. That Marko Djurdjevic theme has wonderful background music to it.

Now that you said something about the music I need to try to get that theme been at school all day just got home after like a 11 hour day at school
 
I probably won't get the game for a couple of weeks. Hopefully it is good, always nice when Marvel makes video games with stories, not just phone games a and internet games.
 
Was just now able to finally update my payment info hope I still get the game by Friday.

Yes, it animates. Here's a video of a person reviewing all suits and he shows a quick cutscene of Spidey falling, with his eyes being narrow and then widening. He shows the suit off at 3:32.



Honestly, I love the animated Homecoming eyes more than the game's suit.

This is incredibly fantastic to hear. Raimis trilogy is still, for me, the most accurate portrayal of the character and his story out of any film adaption of the character we've gotten.

This is amazing to hear. Guess that means I'll only do the intro mission until I unlock the open world mechanics so I can get to the required level and craft the suit. I was kind of planning on doing loads of side content first anyways, keeping most of the story for last (I know that you need to advance the story to unlock side content, talking about the early side content that unlocks right away like backpacks).

I really REALLY want to do my first playthrough with the MCU suit, it's by far my favorite and I feel like the eyes animate perfectly and look way more authentic than the bulky advanced suit ones.
 
So can we play using another suit at the start of the game, or do we have to beat the game first and then we can use skins?
