You unlock new suits on the fly. I think all of them have a level requirement before you can craft them with various types of tokens you get for doing side activities. There are, however, a handful of suits you unlock by doing special tasks (e.g. collect all backpacks or one for doing 100%).

You can use the suits in the game as soon as you unlock them, none of that BS waiting until you beat the game first that some games do for reasons inexplicable.

Thanks! I can't wait to use the classic suit as soon as I can. Nothing against the one they made it's grown on me fine, but can't beat the original.

I know you're all excited about the gameplay, but it's the praise for the story and characters that really excites me. The game mechanics can be outstanding, but without a good story, I get bored really quickly.

I am too. I'm excited for everything really, on about the same level as I was for the first couple of Arkham games. I'm really glad they took their time with this game instead of just rushing it out for a cash grab to tie in with Homecoming last year. I've been itching for a proper next gen Spider-Man game that really pushes the limits and it doesn't look like this will disappoint.

Game went back up to a 88 on Metacritic after 87 reviews and see 12 in progress reviews that would get it up to 99 reviews I think a lot of big games now days get like 110 reviews or so.

I cant wait for this I love spiderman and batman and batman got great games in the Arkham games now its spiderman's turn to get a great game. When it comes to suits I think the best ones in the game so far are the classic one, the cartoon looking one and HC. I really hope we get both rami and amazing spiderman 2 ones. I wonder who the villain will be in the 2nd and 3erd DLC and I wonder how long the DLC's will be. Also on a some what related note I think we will get a sequel in like 2021 maybe late 2020 on ps5 and I think ps5 is already set up in great shape when it comes out. I think ps5 might come out next year because that would be 3 years from ps4 to pro and 3 from pro to 5 if that happend but at the same time I think 2020 may be more likely because ps4 still has several big games for 2019 let. If it comes out late 2020 I think we will get Horizon zero dawn 2 has a launch game has that will have given them like 3 years and 8 months or so to make a sequel should be enough time and than I think we could get a spiderman sequel in 2021 if that happend you would be talking about ps5 getting a sequel to a newer great IP in Horizon 2 and a sequel to the most popular superhero character there is video game all in around the first year of the console like 2 must own games in just the first year that would be impressive. Normally the first like year maybe 2 systems dont have much when it comes to like must own games. I would say switch is like the one system that comes to mind having that has it had Mario and splatoon 2 both in the first like 8 months or so dont count Zelda because its also a wii u game.

Oh also with a sequel it will be interesting to see what they improve/change/add to the game. The Arkham games are amazing games but city improved so much over aslyum that it is almost hard to go back and play aslyum after wards. I have heard some people say aslyum is the best Arkham game but I dont know how people think that. Its a really good game but it fells so limited compared to the other Arkham games because there are no side missions out side of the riddle puzzles/clues that I do love and the combat is way more limited compared to the other games and less gadgets to and the game is way smaller has while. If a spiderman sequel could improve on this game like the way rockstead did from aslyum to city then a spiderman sequel could really be something special.

I couldn't care less about story quality, cause video game stories still tend to lean more to the bad side. I want cutscenes to be skippable from the gate, I hate it when there are cutscenes I am forced to sit through.

I liked Homecoming (it doesn't touch Raimi's series though) but the CGI Spider-Man got on my nerves. I get it, he needs to be sometimes of course. But like...on the boat when he is just dodging Shocker and then talking smack to him as the drone goes back into his chest and he is just standing there?! Why?! Like it didn't look BAD but you can tell it isn't real. I just didn't understand. It is like the suit was too fragile and ripped all the time so they minimized how often he was actually wearing it on set.
