Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

One of the first things I did was descramble all the city antennas and collect all the backpacks. Not exactly thrilling, but I liked the little trinkets and Peter giving info about each one.

I've had one glitch. In the auction house one of the goons got stuck behind a wall and I couldn't finish the fight. Had to reload the last checkpoint. Other than that tho it's been a really smooth and polished experience. I'm not very good with the combat system. I can't get into a rhythm, but hopefully I'll improve.

Would you know something about the skill tree being locked? I have plenty skill points to purchase new moves but they are still locked

Try starting a new game, sometimes that works, or uninstall and reinstall the game.

I didnt keep an exact count. But each district has at least three. So there are around 30.

The city is massive once the antennas are unlocked. Haven’t unlocked the travel system yet, but I hope after completing some more missions.

Yeah if the swinging had been anything less than good the sheer size of the map would have been a chore to deal with.

This is a technical difficulty, you should contact Insomniac to help you with that. Did you get the update patch that I think is supposed to fix such issues?

I got the newest update which fixed some stuff. In the beginning even the parkour didnt work like it was supposed to but the patch fixed it. I will try to get some official support, but i thought there was some other in-game reason for being locked which is why i asked here

It's Manhattan only, which on paper sounds disappointing especially since Peter's from Queens, but it's really massive. The other boroughs would have been nice but I don't exactly miss them. Also, the swinging system is so much fun that I rarely use the quick travel option even if I have to go all the way across the city.

When I want to go from a perch to a wall crawl I have to jump first. Sometimes it's really annoying.

I'm having fun, though. And I'm really taking my time. I don't plan to finish the story so soon.

I’m only 11% done... just doing backpacks, Thug Crimes, and Towers. Ahhhhhh this is so fun. I have no desire to finish it for completing sake. I just want to adventure and play.

part. And I gotta say the character designs are the weakest part of this otherwise great game. Not that they're all bad, but some of them just have some really odd decisions made.

Really liking the game so far! Haven't gotten too far in the story mode, kinda just swinging around stopping crimes, backpacks, towers, etc.

I messed up though. Originally pre-ordered the deluxe digital copy but then I ended up getting the limited edition PS4Pro and was told that I couldn't cancel my original pre-order so ended up wasting a little extra money on this.

@Nardz937 I agree about the character designs. I'm not a huge fan of some of them I've seen so far.

Well I decided to give it a rest for now. It's a good game so far, I'm enjoying it. So far I've only got the advanced suit, and have been finding backpacks along with fighting crime. Trying to acclimate myself to it. Muscle memory kinda kicks in with past games. But yeah, money well spent, should keep me busy for a while.

My skill tree is locked for some reason and I've been playing a while now. it says I have enough currency to buy upgrades but the game just doesn't let me. Does someone know the explanation?

Have you unlocked the first three skills, one from each tree? It may seem like they are already unlocked, but they aren't.
