I'm assuming they will ditch the red and blue and create a darker Spiderman like Alex Ross' design, black and red with black lenses (sans web shooters).

They also need to address the origin of the costume in the reboot: is Parker's silk is involved in its production, and who is his taylor?

Marc Webb hates Venom more than Raimi does,so i guess we won't see the symbiote/Venom in his movies.

Not if Sony has anything to say about it....I mean Raimi only made them two highly popular movies and they still forced Venom on him.

continued form the other thread-

i understand that you need levity. but you dont need it at the expense of making your villain a joke.

what happened in star wars when someone denegrated vader? fool got choked out. he was not to be messed with. and it became understood.

for me, that was the least of the issues i had the first movie's wrinting. the forced metaphors were a bigger issue in my book.

"hi aunt may, you're moving?"
"everyone needs a hero peter."

WTF??

If that should happen, hopefully Webb can do a proper Movie, without showing us his hate for the character.

sure, star wars is very emotionally heavy :whatever:

and what happens when he quips? he does it with guys who dont matter, or he does it until the villain shows he is a threat to him (aka ass whoopin). theres a reason spiderman is always talking about his broken ribs, busted nose, grabbing his side, has rips in his costume.

dont take this the wrong way...but im not gonna continue this conversation. Lets just agree to disagree

I'd prefer to have more classic villains

I think he could be done well. But he'd need some build up first. Build up Eddie during two Movies and introduce Venom in the 3rd. But that doesn't matter now anyway. I don't want him anywhere near this new set of the Spider-Man Movies.

I think Venom needs to be in this new reboot franchise, as I feel he wasn't done justice the last time.

I think I'd rather have them try somehow to bring the Sinister Six into this.

I'm in the opinion that if Mysterio were ever used, how I don't know, Scarecrow esque Nolan style?... they could go along the routes that Mysterios makes him think he's fighting past foes (new ones) in a huge fight ala TSSM Sinister Six fight.
