The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume - Part 1

It was not a complaint but a simple observation. You people need to learn to differentiate the two, first of all. Secondly, there is this thing called perspective. This is where opinions come from.

You said Spider-Man now looks feminine and this is bothersome to you. I view that as a complaint. There is nothing wrong with having an opinion or grievance and I was stating mine.

From my perspective, Spider-Man reads as effeminate in the stills I have seen. In about three shots where he is on a big rig truck he looks fine, but all the others he looks weak. In some shots Spider-man's legs look as chicken thin as a long distance runner. Again, this is my opinion. As I stated before, most people draw spider-man with well toned muscles - be it lean or bulky. That's why drawings of the suit look stronger than what is actually being worn. And, to me, this is from the actor/stuntman lack of muscle.
Spider-man is much slimmer this time , it's very noticeable. He may look more cut when we get better shots though.

Last, I am one of the few people on these forums who don't complain. This is probably my third or fourth post in here. Yes, I said that I did not like the suit but that was pretty much it.
In all honesty, I don't give an absolute damn about this film. I do not plan on seeing it in theatres when it comes out. What I am interested in is the production of the movie. I love seeing superhero films come to life on a movie set. Just because I critiqued the suit does not mean I am *****ing.
I'm not sure what to make of that. As a film buff , I could be interested in the production of the film but not want to go see it based on the genre. However if you love seeing Superhero films come to life , why wouldn't you view the final product.

Something being bothersome does not equate to being a complaint. As an artist your work is critiqued. What is being critiqued more often than not is an element that distracts from the whole. I am not going, "Why, oh, why that travesty!" I simply stated what I felt was off about the suit to me.

I understand the approach. I just think that they should have gone for a more lean, muscular look.

It is quite simple, really. I do not want to spend my money on a Spider-man reboot that I feel is too soon to have anyway. But that does not sway my interest in the film's production. For example, I found it more entertaining watching Ang Lee acting as the hulk in a mocap suit than the actual movie. This just goes back to my interest in the complex nature of things, no more or no less.

I take it that people have seen the pictures at the attached link? All I can say is, 'Oh dear.'

'Oh dear'? I think that action move looks great. It's nice to see Spidey battle some "thugs" as well

HAHA just wait until someone says that is the stuntman suit.

I think my 11 year old cousin could have drawn a better design of Spider-Man :(
