Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions - Part 1

LOL, all these awkward responses on my awkward review. Isn't this one of those threads asking: "What are your thoughts of that product?". I did that, and on something released 6 months ago, not way before its release, so it's not like I reviewed a product based on the trailer only

As for gameplay, experience changes from one person to another, from one disc to another, from one system to another. Playing it is the only thing remaining for me to do to keep my thoughts without them being a source of jokes

I saw several games before this get praised, and after experiencing them I found out they are complimented out of random reasons, like GTA games for the PS2, those have real bad graphics, as bad as a PS1 Activision game in human figures, and buildings look like cardboards, gameplay in all games are the same, you are a gangsta puppet, main objects; shoot, kill, steal cars, transport these b******, take orders from person 'A', take orders from random person 'B', move to random person 'C'.
The GBA game of GTA has the dumbest puppet to play with, he goes to hit one guy and injure him badly to take orders from him, then kidnaps the neice of the Yakuza head based on the orders of the guy you made his face bleed, direct mission after that is "get the girl back, her aunt hires you", then you serve the one you were meant to damage

I heard of Web of Shadows being the best Spider-Man game in years, press on the link in my signature and you will see what I think of that game, how it plays, how bad the story is, how it is badly complimented

So many games I played were good, but most of what there is to do in them is "Beat 'Em Up", that's annoying, nothing else to do? And this new game is just another one of that genre, so I did this move and reviewed the game based on walkthrough, especially after this one getting complimented, this game doesn't have the huge level of stupidity those games I briefed you about earlier, so that's a plus

Now I hope you understand why I did what I did

i can't believe someone actually wasted time in there life WATCHING through a whole game....

Better than wasting time and money on a game to be disliked, and waste more time on all the retries

Also, it wasn't any real deep analysis of the game, it was shallow observations that if you dug through this thread even a little bit, you'd find not only have we made them and more over and over but we've dissected every Spider-Man game with a lot of depth. You don't need to tell us what was wrong with WOS, we know.

Your review was just funny, like we needed to be told the control system or the game structure. You don't even need to watch a walkthrough for that bro, Wikipedia will tell you that.

I was going to end with the same results

Usually I go through a thing in full at least twice, then I give the review of a game, then I'm not received seriously enough after I review, so I figured; "Why Bother Playing the Game? Watching it would be enough.", that's what I did for this game, the first game I do this for, and I'm not going to play it

So, just glanced at this thread, and this dude doesn't actually PLAY a game he trashes? It does occur to you that the point of a game is the enjoy THAT process, right? If games were based entirely around how fun they were to watch, nobody would have taken "Pong" all that seriously, either.

You say this is a simple beat 'em up (which it kinda is) but the important part of any beat 'em up is how it controls and that isn't something you get from videos. Same with the atmosphere of the game, which is one of the most important aspects in games imo, you just don't get that from watching gameplay videos.

7/10 is bashing? I stated the few things I see and don't like, and they take a big part of comfort in playing a game
I might play the game if I had the disc as a gift, not paying anything for it

Any score is ridiculous if you haven't played the freaking thing... Also, really sad to watch an entire game. I only half heartedly enjoyed playing the bloody thing, but to simply watch it? Sheesh.

After seeing the Super Bowl trailer for the Captain America movie, I must say that I'm very disappointed at this film. I expected to see Red Skull in more than a mere millisecond. I had to friggin' pause the film to have a chance to see the arch enemy's face.

And all of a sudden, Cap's shield gets a bland, metallic color and the iconic star is just gone. It's as if the director thought Cap was too patriotic and went with something more neutral instead. And where the heck did Cap get that MC from? Questions, questions!

My advice is, don't buy a cinema ticket for this one. Because, the film leaves alot of plot holes that only makes you more confused. But the action is pretty nice.

If anyone has been on IGN lately, I'm sure you've seen the tech demo for Unreal Engine 3. The tech demo sucks, the controls were sluggish, when I clicked the play button, it gave me a message that said "buffering" wtf...thats ********. Luckily, there were no adds in the tech demo, the graphics were ok although I wasn't too fond of the protagonist turning into some sort of stone man but I guess if you can have the Thing, you can make a knock off version of him for the next gen games.

Beat the first act got two more. I'm on gamefly and busy with other things so I've been taking my time with this one(got it last week). I love all of the different environments but I'm glad Noir Spidey is only once every four plays. After lurking in the shadows for over an hour I was glad to be able to use my web lol

Only thing I am disappointed with so far is that I really wanted to play in the city. So far the normal spideys(amazing and ultimate) both take place in strange environments like the jungle with Kraven or the electro plant with shocker. Really good game so far though.

wtf, I jus got back from the theater, went to go see The Avengers...horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE. It was like a 50's B-movie, a bunch of superheroes vs green men from some far away planet, and apparently there was a big green man who is actually a scientists that gets controlled by another green man who is like Zeus' son or something. Also, the guy from that craptacular First Avenger movie is in it, he was like frozen asleep and he comes back crying about how he missed out on like 50 years of stuff, and then he goes to fighting these aliens. Plotholes all over the place, everyone's costumes had nipples, even the Iron Man suit....0.5 out of 10. DO NOT WATCH THAT FILM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW I hated how they just shoe-horned that Wakanda scene, so let me guess...the sequel is gonna have Black Panther....smh
