World Spider-man: Web of Shadows Game

I was playing Tenchu 2 today, and when i watched the credits after beating the game, I found out that the voice of Rikimaru was Rino Romano.

I watched a rerun of The Batman that plays on my friends TV loop, and I just noticed....that's Rino Romano's voice!

Makes me really wish now that he played the Spidey in WoS.

on the website of his character they say using his trusty web shooters oh and whenever i play web of shadows it always loads something different anybody else having this problem?

The webbing in the game is organic. If he had his shooters, you'd have to keep refilling them over and over.

And what are you talking about that it "loads differently?"

Not really, in Ultimate Spider-Man the game clearly states you have web cartriges and even lack them at certain points, but the gameplay was organic webbing.

We already know this game's got organic webbing since the devs confirmed it months ago.

It's wasn't really that hard to understand. He could've had as well webshooters in the game without making it gameplay relevant, like Ultimate Spider-Man.

But yes, in the end it doesn't matter.

Again, it doesn't matter, so who cares if I don't understand your point e.e;?

No one.

Thank you!
I know its not a big deal but I really don't see how that could have SWOOSHED right over your head Ryuuie, apparently since you actually seem a tad brighter than most people on here.

ok like one time it'll do a autosave at the part where you and wolverine has to hunt down infected civillians and then when i go back to play it it take you to the vulture level(NON-SYMBIOTE vulture )

Sadly i had the unfortunate pleasure of playing the game on a PS2 (UGGGG), and its absolutely horrible side scroller.

The voice of Spider-Man sounds just ****in like Randall Graves, cant take it serious for a second. The control, graphics, it all bad and short, beat it in about 4-5 hours. Can't wait to play it on 360 or PS3 very soon though.

I'm going to be visiting Activision in the U.S. to discuss about a Spider-Man game idea. Anybody got any ideas they want to throw in?

My ideas would include something more 616, and nothing related to the modern comics. Hopefully something a Ben Reilly. I'm going to be illustrating a storyboard for it so I'd like to hear your ideas.

http://forum.seizecontrol.com/us/topic.php?id=1347 Silverstein did a post here about his idea (his name's BlueX).

Personally, I'd use ANY of his ideas.

Also, here's my idea:

If we had a Spidey game that's based like Crysis is, it'd be pretty awesome.

You're basically free to do whatever you want to a point, but you HAVE to finish that specific task if you want to continue on in the story and in the game.

In Crysis, for example, you are instructed to go get information from a swarmed Korean camp. You're in a forest, you don't HAVE to go and do that right away. You can roam around the forest and do what you want but if you want to go any farther you need to go finish that mission.
In Spider-Man, this could be done by having you being told "Green Goblin is up to something at the docks, go find out what he's doing" (I'm not good at writing a good story :P), instead of going to do that immediately, you can go and swing around or go and finish a sidequest or something, but you are contained in a specific area (though a LARGE area). If you want to skip something, go ahead, but it won't be a MAJOR selling point in the game and it won't have a huge effect on the next mission.
Does any of that make sense? :P

You want to freeroam? Sure. After you beat the game, you can unlock a "Free Mode" and go back to a point in time where you have no missions currently and there's lots of random things to do (stop criminals and whatnot). You wont' be able to go past this point in time and you DO have all of your upgrades (or you can chose to have one upgrade over another).
Swinging could be handled like in SM2 but with the animation of WOS.
We also need sneaking missions back, I mean come on. Why remove them? Spider-Man is smart, he doesn't just rush into something all the time like in recent games, he'll sneak into places, keep things quiet and fight if he needs to.

Maybe even have a few enemies where you don't fight them, but they fight themselves (Rhino's fight with Spidey in Spider-Man 1 for N64/PS1 comes to mind), you could taunt them (even select taunts if you want, they wouldn't have any impact on the game, just something different to say). Then make them angry enough to hurt themselves accidentally.

The combat in WOS is good, but LOSE THE FLASHINESS! We don't need to be punching and see a bright flash, this isn't the old Batman TV show.
Costumes, we need them back. Focusing on only two costumes was a huge mistake and not what most people wanted. The costumes in this new game would affect your abilities (like they did in SM1 N64/PS1). They don't have to be elaborate, just something simple. Don't say it's impossible to do that for all costumes...PS1 could do it..N64 could to. I'm SURE PC, Wii, PS3, and 360 can too.

Symbiotes...we're done with them. We do NOT need any more. SM3, USM, FOF (to a point), and now WOS all have to do with symbiotes. The symbiotes aren't that interesting, for the next game make someone like Hobgoblin or Green Goblin or Shriek or someone ELSE be the main villain. ******, if you want to make it a HUGE game, make it someone like Kingpin or the Sinister Six. Then you can add in old school villains like The White Rabbit, Alistair Smythe, or Morlun. Venom should NOT be in this game at all, he's a tired old villain and he's pretty boring.

Bugs and glitches should NOT be as bad as they are in this game. If it takes you 2 - 3 years to make this next Spidey game, so be it. We'll all be better off for it. We can wait. Seriously, we can.

Alright; I jotted some notes down, but before I can produce something. I need a working title, "Web of Shadows" reflects too much on the "Shadows" being symbiotes so I don't think it'd be proper. And this is the second game using the "Web of..." in the title, the first being Web of Fire for one of the sega consoles. Maybe something that's catchy like Enter the Electro (God I miss playing that)

Hm, since no one else is willing to help make a better Spider-Man game, I'll help. :P

I'll just devote myself to this (that is until class starts up again :X).

Anyway, I can't really think up some good names since I don't know the notes you have. =/ PM em to me?

I just completed Web of Shadows a few minutes ago. I have to put this as the best Spiderman game ever made, even ahead of Spiderman 2. The web swinging was dead on, the missions were exciting and challenging, and the game is incredibly addictive.

And who would've thought that they would've killed off ***** and *****. Awesome game. 5/5.

well, if the next game is a sequel, which I hope it is...
ain't Venom dead?

I just want a game that takes the entire Ditko era, and makes it a video game. That would be so awesome! Think about it, the Master Planner saga!

Jick: I doubt it'll be a sequel at all. WOS ain't doing that good in sales so....

Why make a sequel? We need a NEW game.
