Spidey turning bad is not as good as Superman turning bad

The difference is that Peter turning bad there is still on another different psychological level. With the symbiote trying to take control of his host, Peter is constantly struggling to bridge the gap between right and wrong. Although Peter being a constant cherie person, the move to a darker side has a different effect, than it would be a alien from the planet Krypton.

Whats wrong with comparing spider-man to superman??...Its obvious that both the comic book charecter AND movie charecter were inspired by the superman comics and movies. People always compare superhero movies with Spider-man so whats wrong...plus the franchise had undergone similar chapters...both turn evil in their third installments

Much as I hate to criticise people on these boards, I think I'm becoming increasingly aware that there are two types of posters here; long-time posters who look at the films quite deeply and have a real knowledge of superheroes and superhero films, and want to discuss them (which, inevitably, involves comparisson); and the guys who turn up when the next superhero movie comes out, claim it's far better than everything else, can't bare anything they perceive as criticism of it...and disappear soon after.

Supes 3 was ridiculously horrible...it's so hoaky. A guy drives over a fire hydrant and nearly drowns...come on. Superman is just as much of a nerd as Peter so I think it is fair to compare the two and how they act when the become bad @sses...it would have been better had they shown black Spidey just completely go berzerk and go off on some measly robber. But SM3 is loads better than Supes 3.
