I think Sony's aware of the way positive reaction from the new TASM2 suit that they'll stick to something similar. If anything, they'll do little changes to things such as the fabric. Things like that.

Yeah they will likely keep the new suit from TASM2

It was always going To be an automatic hit because its so close to the comic suit while the TASM suit will always be a yes I like it or no I don't like it because it has its own style

Yeah the asm2 suite looked a lot like the sm2 suit just perfect the asm1 looked like a basketball lol.

As much as I love the TASM 1 suit, I think that Marc Webb and his team have made the right choice by changing the suit to a more iconic/classic look .

TASM 2 suit is PERFECT .
And as a fan of Mark Bagley and Humberto Ramos, I really love the eyes of the new mask.

Something like this just seems like the logical next step and should have been the suit used in ASM 2. While I agree that the ASM 2 suit looks great, it just doesn't fit in the world created in part 1 - however that is a big flaw of the current set of movies, ASM 2 killed most of the identity established by part 1.

Its a shame really.

That's how I feel too. I was one of those fans that was not happy that Tobey and Raimi were gone, however I liked that the new series was going to try and be a bit different. I said to myself, "okay, they are going to try and do their own thing, kudos to them for that." That's why I even gave a them a pass on trying to include Peter's parents. That being said, they haven't handled their story well, and how they basically ignored uncle Ben in ASM 2 was a crime.

ASM 2 comes along and it is chalk full of cheesy bad guys (I will give the goblin a pass although thought it was a bit too easy how he got his suit), terrible one liners and just very colorful. I didn't recognize this "new Spidey world" and spent more time thinking, "okay, I am watching something made more for kids then adults." I found it hard to stay interested.

What will be interesting to see is what they decide to do for the third. I still hope the first suit, or a modified version of it comes back, the movie looks darker, and they keep electro and rhino as far away as possible. Likely they will bring one if not both back.

I remember going what-the-****ing-s**t at first, when they announced that they were rebooting. But when they released the picture of Andrew in the suit, I thought it looked cool as ****. And I came out really enjoying The Amazing Spider-Man, I find it genuinely good and really not as bad as people make it out to be.

ASM2 is kind of a strange one, though. I've given it a 8.0/10, but I still don't think I call it a good movie with a straight face. It's weird.

I'm hoping for ASM3 to be great, but I'm not expecting it to be.

Though in all seriousness I wouldn't mind seeing a Spider-man movie suit that is inspired by the Ben Reilly suit. Though probably not a direct adaptation.
