I tried catching that GTTV special last night...but SPIKE's video kept breaking up.

Everytime I turn to that channel, I am reminded of my hatred of it.

It's amazing, too. I'd usually feel nothing but apathy towards it, but waiting to watch Splinter Cell ConViction coverage, or even the Batman Arkham Asylum special, I've learned to hate SPIKE.

Them spending actual time, going through the motions, of telling me which animal I can **** that would feel most like a woman...makes my brain cry. Oh, you wanna know the 3 best ways to escape out of a pair of handcuffs? 1. have the key. (really) 2. don't let them close the cuffs. (really!) 3. cut through the handcuffs. (really!!)

They can show all that, but the GTTV coverage last night just suddenly froze and was unwatchable...so I suffered for nothing. I'm a little cranky because of it, really.

Anyway, I just got an email from Ubisoft. Turns out that with a new copy of Splinter Cell ConViction, we'll have access to the Ghost Recon Future Soldier multiplayer beta.

Which, I think, is pretty cool.

really looking forward to conviction. never got into double agent, but chaos theory was one of my favourite games of last gen titles.

i know it'll probably be different in many ways, but i'm hoping that conviction matches CT in terms of overall quality.

also co-op missions are great.

Really cant wait for this game. I just love the new direction they have taken. This game is basically the Jason Bourne game iv been waiting for.

New video on the P.E.C system.

I loved this system in Rainbow Six: Vegas so im really looking forward to its implementation in this game. I love being able to customize my characters.

From crazy hobo Sam Fisher hiding in dumpsters and throwing trash cans to "Panther" Sam Fisher leaping out of windows and slamming a dude's head into a toilet. Top to bottom this game is going to be 1000% better than the previous version.

Yea this is easily shaping up to be one of the better SC titles. Seeing as how the "secret agent" is portrayed these days, the Jason Bournes and Jack Bauers, it was time Sam Fisher got that treatment. Really cant wait to slam a dudes face into a toilet.

Ubisoft today unveiled a Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Special Edition Xbox 360 bundle.
The $400 bundle will come with a 250GB hard drive, two wireless controllers and a standard edition of the game. It won't, however, include a spiffy design or paint job on the console itself or the controllers for that matter.

Haha, I totally misread that at first and thought it was just a Conviction collector's edition. I was like "$400? Anyone who buys that is f***ing crazy."

That's cool, though. The game looks very good; I'm sure it'll move a few 360s to the scant few who don't have them already.

That bundle is a nice deal. Id pass on it even if i needed another console tho. I really want that Collectors edition of the game.

Haha yea, this time they laser etched the date on a stone and mailed it to various outlets. With that said tho, i wouldn't doubt if they delayed this yet again.
