Iron Man 2 *SPOILERS* Favourite scene of IM2

The whole birthday party scene was awesome.
Rhodey landing in the Mark II was awesome. Everyone was in awe and he kind of had this "I know, right" look.
Hammers dance of course.
Hammer taking things away from Vanko (pretty much anything they did together.
Tony vs. perpetual motion toy.
Randy's Donuts

Oh so thats what that thing was called. That was funny. :hehe:

The freaking laser hands. Holy ****! The entire theater loved it.

I'm sure it's not the actual name of the object but it got the point across lol. It was one of the better sight gags i've seen in a while

that was awesome, yet kinda off. on one hand it was a tight weapon and a cool effect, on the other it finished 'em off to easily and made his reguler repulser rays seem obsolete. but since they were one time use that made it ok for me. lol.

Yeah, I think he could only use them one time. And he was surrounded by drones who were closing in.

What did Rhodey say after that happened? There were some jokes I missed because I couldn't make out what they were saying in the film.

Like when Tony expands the hologram model of the city. He smiles and says something about going to school again I think?

Hey Tony next time lets lead with that

Thanks dad 20 years later and still taking me to school

What exactly did Tony say to the DJ right before he started fighting with Rhodey ?

give me a tight beat to whoop my friends ass to

That's what I thought he said.. :p

The first time I saw the movie, I didn't like the scene. The second time, I thought it was awesome and it worked with the progression of the characters.

A scene I found funny in a subtle way that I don't recall anyone bringing up was at the Monaco raceway when they're inside the restaurant area. When Hammer comes up to Tony and Pepper with Christine Everhart and starts talking about how she's doing a story on him what he says and then the look on Tony's face is priceless, it totally fits with how Hammer is the anti-Stark and has no charisma or tact.

He says to Stark "Yeah, she's doing a story on me...(leans over to Stark)for a bone".

The look on Stark's face cracks me up. He pauses then looks down with his eyes closed. The kind of look that someone does when they're thinking something like, "Wow, what a complete nob" or "smooth move dumb ass"

Another scene I like is right before the drones land. When Tony and Rhodes are arguing about who gets on the hill.

"I think the big gun should be up there"
"Wait, where are you going?"
"I'm the big gun"
"No, you have a big gun but you're not THE big gun". :hehe:

I like the whole big gun scene, the drunk scene and actually...I really liked the scene where Rhodey takes Tony's other suit. He pretty much steals it...I felt for Tony in that scene, pretty much a stab in the back.

I'd say in many ways he was somewhat justified in taking it, tho. Probably why Tony didn't pursue him to get it back.

Agreed. The drunk scene pretty much put him over the fence on if he should keep trusting Tony or not. Using his suit to shoot bottles just proved to him that someone more responsible should be using the suit.

And yeah...I think Tony knew it too and didn't go after him. It was a pretty emotional scene to me. in combo with the drunk scene.

When Hammer tries to sneak in ther close w/ Tony for a picture in Monaco, "that's soo bad" :funny: He just cringes when he's close to Hammer.

Also the driver of the Stark F1 car was highly p.o.'d when the Boss took his seat.

"I had this flown from San Francisco, it's Italian though....Organic Ice Cream":hehe:

Didn't he throw his helmet down in anger?:hehe:

Two of the three times I saw this movie a decent number of the audience laughed when that driver's name on the board was replaced with Stark.

Yeah, I love that scene too in the restaurant.

"She did quite the spread on Mr. Stark last year."

Figs, yeah, I loved that cringing grin that he did when he shook Hammer's hand at the bar. My God, just funny as hell. He said something, but that and that cringing grin made it funnier.

Thanks. :woot:

I wish I could remember all of Hammer's ex-wife line. And his dance. Damn, I would have went to prom if I had Hammer's moves.

^^

Pepper: "She did quite the spread on Mr. Stark last year."
Tony: "..and she wrote a story."

I remember some of it vaguely. This is a bit of paraphrasing of course.

"It will destroy the bunker...underneath the bunker that's been destroyed. If this baby was any smarter it could write a book that would make Ulysses look like it was written in crayon...then it would read it too you."

I can't quite remember the line that leads up to him calling it the ex-wife. Something like, "absolutely beautiful, intriguing and will destroy any building in it's path...I call it the ex-wife"

My favorite would definitely be the Black Widow infiltration scene...
