^ Odie Mandell was my homie.

Great game.

And this is coming from someone who has been skipping the Pod Racing scene since 2001.

They just got old and lazy until Luke came along.

:funny:

I never took Palpatine's words as a sign that they wanted to train new Sith warriors, which he could potentially have done even before his rise to power.

Rather, he simply means that through him and Vader, the Sith now rule the galaxy.

Actually I don't remember him saying anything close to "the Sith will rise again".

I'm sure he had a line pretty much like that, even so I always got the impression he wanted the Sith to be back in numbers, and that he would use that power to keep a tight grip on the Galaxy.

Having said that we can gather he may well have killed his old master and would not have been keen on training anyone that potentially may become more powerful than him. So he kept Vader as his amprentice and remained sole overlord.

I used to play this thing for hours

Not interested. I'm a movie maniac, blu-ray quality is the very least I can bear.

And if that wasn't enough, I'm also a Star Wars collector. I like to own the real deal.

The deleted scenes aren't exactly making good use of HD. Mostly poor film quality, missing effects and basic animation.

I put in A New Hope and was just blown away by the picture. I have a LED TV with all the fixings and I never saw Star Wars so crisp before.

The destruction of the Death Star looks unbelievable in HD on my 52 inch inch lcd tv .

lol this is a funny ad

Awesome, it should go down like last Saturday's fight, have the ref distracted, while Vader sucker punches Luke.

There's only one thing missing
Father vs Son

I don't think it was commonly known outside of Luke, Leia, Yoda, Obi-Wan, possibly Owen and Beru that Vader was actually Anakin.

It's not as if that poster appeared inside the universe, it's for fans and fans know that they are family

Does anyone else agree with me that the look of the prequels and the OT just doesn't work because one looks WAY older than the other does in special effect and just aging compared to the new CGI. Even in Blu-Ray I feel like I'm watching an old movie when I watch the OT. They don't even look like their from the same universe.

That's where the Expanded Universe helps, it connects both Trilogies better

I think the whole meaning of the poster is suppose to be in the realm of Star Wars reality leading up the the end of Jedi. And up until that Battle, it didn't seem like too many people knew that Anakin = Vader.

I still think Empire and Jedi hold up very well even compared to the prequels. In general, I prefer a lot of the practical effects and sets to CGI of the prequels.

I'm sure some of it has to do with my fondness of the OT, but I think those movies have held up.

If that was inside the star wars universe then Palpatine's throne room would be full o people, that's why it says tickets are available, it's just a joke Poster, come on, Father vs Son could have been added

Just started to watch the Blu-Ray collection, just got done TPM. Have to say some of the digital shots don't hold up well with age. Jar Jar's first appearance is bad. The cloth the Gungans wear looks worst then some video games that are out.
It made me really wish GL used more practical effects in filming the series. And further more with all the changes GL was making, it would of seem better to update the texture's of the digital creatures to hold up in Blu format.

Saying that. Everything else looks great. The vista's are amazing, the JW score sounds brilliant. And for some reason I like TPM more this time. Maybe I've cooled on some Prequel hate. Maybe it's a sign of age. Anyway, it's a good conversion, but held back by age of digital shots.

Gonna watch AOTC next.

Sidious says "Once more the Sith shall rule the galaxy!". Sidious actually follows the rule of two, as evidenced in TPM and ROTS.

Anywhoo... What order are people watching the films? When I show family members that have never seen the saga I'm gonna go with

IV- introduces the universe
I
II- Shows Anakin's story
V- Big reveal
III- Anakin's transformation
VI- Big conclusion.

Order to watch them?
If you already saw them all then the order is Prequels first and then original.
To get somebody into the saga the order is:
Episode IV: Introduction to the saga
Episode I: Origin and Anakin's first appearance when he's still a young boy
Episode V: Big reveal
Episode II: Makes more sence to show Anaking killing like that after watching Episode V and discovering the truth.
Episode III: Order 66
Episode VI: Big finale

By the way, after i watched Episode III i tought that Palpatine was more of a schemer having lost on purpose against Windu and equaling Yoda on the lightsaber and almost on power. I tought that Anakin was almost as powerful and would soon match his power, I tought that by the time the originals take place Darth Vader was stronger than Palpatine but considered him his Master a friend.
But by Episode VI the oposite seems to happen, Darth Vader seems to be afraid of Palpatine and Palpatine seems to be almost untouchable, i sincerelly like to think that like in episode III Darth Vader follows Palpatine because he trusts him even after everything that happened and just trusts him

I understand it's not a REAL poster and it's meant to be humorous to cool in nature.

But my point still makes sense.
