Ultimate Nick Fury

I've not read Ultimate anything since Ulimates 2 ended but I liked Nick in the first two volumes of the book.

Going back though... I freakin' LOVE Molly!!! I love all the Runaways and suggest everyone read the first volume and the second up to issue 24 when Vaugn left.

But, seriously, he is cool. I liked what they've done with the character and he actually had a touching moment in Ultimate Fallout with Mary Jane.

I didn't read much of Ultimate Fury outside of Ultimates vol 1 & 2 but he was cool. He wasn't as secretive as 616 Nick from what I recall, he was more of a team player.

You do know that Hitch deliberately modeled Ult Nick Fury to look exactly like Sam Jackson years before the Iron Man movie right? Just sayin.

I'm glad he made it possible for there to be more than one Marvel super hero movie with Samuel L. Jackson in it, but I prefer the regular Fury. And thats mostly because I haven't read too many Ultimate comics.

Yeah, I imagine Hitch's thoughts when he was doing the character design went: "Hmm, it's pretty much impossible to make Nick Fury any more cool. Waitaminute! I could also make him Samuel L Jackson!"

Unnecessary character as all the Ultimate versions are. Real Nick is better than kiss the actor's ass Nick.
