I like her, but since I don't read the X-books regularly, I haven't seen anything stunning with her in.

And yeah, I thought that Jean, in her original body as actual, proper Jean Grey and not a clone or something only died like twice as well.

Have they explained how Hope Summers fits into Jean's possible resurrection?

There has been no full explanation. This is the X-Men, they drag this crap out for 10-15yrs. Remember the Twelve? The first mention of them were made 1987 and the actual event happened in 2000.

Alright, Jean was underwhelming. Learn as you go. I figured some of her fans would show up and give us a reason to like her but, eh. No dice.

Which brings us to:

ULTRON

Ultron's awesome. I love that Ultron can either have huge galactic plans of domination like in Annihilation: Conquest, or just become really petty and do whatever he can to prove he is better than and kill Hank Pym.

Ultron's alright. Only thing that really bugs me is the design of his head. Don't know why exactly, but I hate it.

F***ing badass. One of the quintessential Avengers villains, especially when he makes whole armies of himself to f*** s*** up. I love that guy.

Don't know too much about Ultron other than it's one very dangerous villain in the MU. Also that Moon Knight has Ultron's head in the latest series...actually kind of interested to see where that all goes.

Ultron reminds me of a major flaw in comic book villains. Some are entirely too easy to beat(Elektro, Mole Man, Sauron, etc) but others are freaking impossible, even when lethal force is used; like Ultron. Just when you think you've beat him, he uploads his consciousness into everything and comes back in 2 days. If I were a Marvel hero, fighting Ultron would seem hopeless.

Ultimate Reed would find a way to beat him :o

He leaves those things lying around all over the place. I think Daredevil beat one up that was made of tin or something.

Ultron is one of the best villains in the Marvel Universe. Top 5 easily.

He's got depth, he's got serious daddy issues, and what every good villain needs, one hell of a body count.

ULTRON is freaking bad ass!! A foe truly worthy of the worlds mightiest heroes. With his underlying "Oedipus complex" going on ,trying to mate with his "mom" by creating Jocasta with the wasp's life force (when i say that he's a bad mother*&^%$.I really mean it!) to Creating a "son" thru the Vision and wanting to kill his "dad" Hank Pym. that dude gives a whole new meaning to " Computer love"!" "Domo arigato MR. Roboto" for being so sinisterly, twisted pure evil! I love it! So until he goes to up #3000 ,like" Shake it like a Polaroid picture" Andre! Ultron ROCKS!!!

It's AN Ultron head, not THE Ultron head.

And Ultron is indeed badass... Possibly my favourite villain in the Marvel Universe. Gives even more depth to Hank Pym who's so underrated it's not funny...

Awesome in and of himself and improves everything he's in by hiss sheer involvement.

I agree with everything you said. Ultron Unlimited was a great arc, and everything about him in EMH was brilliant. From the lead up with him being a part of Pym's prison, to his eyes turning red during the Kang arc, and then him just outright becoming the villain Ultron was great.

Used and abused by Marvel.

An essential member of the X-Men that became a victim of her own success - the Dark Phoenix Saga became 10 times bigger than the character, and for the most part writers became unable to move on.

John Byrne and Roger Stern tried their best to bring the original Jean Grey back in a not particularly great storyline - but it got the job done. The problems began when writers kept trying to incorporate Phoenix-aspects back into Jean. Chris Claremont started it in 2000, and Grant Morrison continued down that path before eventually killing her.

I'd love Jean Grey to come back, but I don't trust the current editorial to do it properly. So for now, I think it's better that she stays off the board.
dude you nailed it.

They should completely ditch the Phoenix force stuff if they have Jean come back and simply keep her as a super high level telepath/telekentic without the mental blocks.

Yeah, I really liked how EMH made him more of an all-around Avengers villain all the way to his roots than a Pym villain.

I used to hate Iron Man growing up, I don't know why. I have since grown to like him BUT I know I am going to get destroyed for saying this but I like movie Iron Man more then comic Iron Man. I am ready to take my beating.

Movie Iron Man is the charismatic character Tony was before he got all *****ey.

And by "*****ey", I mean bad *****ey, not good *****ey. Tony should always be good *****ey.

I like Iron Man. Bendis really tried to vilify him during Civil War and it worked, I kinda wanted Cap to kill him. But Tony and I are cool now.

The most versatile of all Aven.. heck Marvel characters. The one that probably could do almost everything. The 21st century superhero. Being *****e is a slight minus.

totaly agree with this. i use to looove Iron Man!
Jerky moment 1) drinking his ass off so Rodney had to take over.
Jerky moment 2)broke all sorta laws to get his Armour tech back, even beating up Cap!
Jerky moment 3) setting up spider and giving him that god awful outfit.
Jerky moment 4) Cloning Thor.come on! how you going to do that to your friends.( now if it was the scarlet witch as your personal love slave that's ok)!Hehe
Jerky Moment 5) That whole civil war &^%. I can see things from a differnent perspective, but he was outta his mind.

I understand Marvel heroes having flaws. That's What have made them great ,but these cats now are morally eroded! IM use to be a great character.that dude is now more morally bankrupt than a ENRON executive!
Thor should've beat the crap outta him for that clone &^%! Movie IM rocks! comic IM sucks!
