Shatterstar has been immensely entertaining in X-Factor, gay, bi, or otherwise. Most of the fun comes from the fact that he's got absolutely no social skills because he grew up on Mojoworld or whatever.

So, we're talking about Shatterstar eh? Cool.

I find the character enjoyable, both in his more flat personality from old school X-Factor and from his new x-factor showings. Overall I like the newer characterization better though, despite being bothered by the homosexuality aspect due to moral beliefs.
He's a good secondary character, not a leading one. Good for action and humor. And Anubis is right that he certainly couldn't hold a film, nor is there any rational place to fit him into one as a secondary character.

P.s. Badguy, you're a newb and you haven't even bothered denying that you're just a previously banned user weaseling your way back in.

I think X-Factor is a good setting for him. Works well off of others, but as hs been said, probably couldn't carry his own title.

The fact the more recent interpretation gives Liefeld the s***s is just gravy...

I was not a fan of Hercules when he was first brought in the Marvel universe in the Avengers. I honestly didn't like the way Hercules was drawn. It didn't match my vision of him. But I did get over that eventually.

What can I say I really like the guy now. He's a beast. I love his sort of rivalry with Thor. They can be friends or foes at any time. I personally would choose him in a one on one fight against Thor.

I really do like where they are going with his character now that his powers have been taken away. Because Hercules is a brawler and still has all the skills he had, just not the super strength, healing ability etc.

I would love to see him appear in film, maybe in a Thor film, a good brawl between them would be epic.

He wasnt that "boo-hoo i have these powers and i am soooo sad i got em cat"Dude would beat you and then go drink with you. I love all his stuff. when he travel the galaxy with a cross dressing skrull and tried to get Galactus drunk. But i think the best for me was when the masters of evil gave him brain damage! That was some sad ass *&^% I was so pissed at those guys and when he got it back together! I wanted him to give them the gift! ( and not a pair of oven mitts!)

That's exactly what i love to about him. He embraces himself and just kicks ass. He greets people with a punch. How f**cking awesome is that? How badass is that?

He's almost like Wolverine in the aspect that they do not back down from a fight no mater the odds and act on impulse, just wanting to beat some ass.

Shatterstar is meh. Never really cared for him, but I haven't read the new X-Factor yet so I'm out of the loop.

Herc is a fun character. When he's around to punch things I'm happy with seeing that.

I haven't read much with Herc outside of Slott's Mighty Avengers. He was great in that book. He said "Dost thou have to be such a tool?" which makes him awesome forever.

Herc is more fun when he's more fun. Well, that makes no sense but I remember back when Stern or Harras used him in Avengers and he was all noble and s**t. In recent years he's been great fun, making him more unique apart from the other mythological heroes.

Van Lente and Pak made him a lovable doofus but I think it was the Thorcules arc that clinched it for me that despite being a powerful Demi-God, Herc still puts priority on that feeling in his pants.

Plus I think Herc was doing Northstar, not Shatterstar. Common mistake.
