SWARM

That is a terrible picture, and your better be ashamed.

I like Swarm.

A nazi scientist who created genetically enhanced killer bees that he was going to use against the 3rd reich' s enemies.. Which killed him and then re- animated his body! What's not to LOVE!! I freaking Love Swarm!!

Plus he was " Champion's Villian 1st and I loved those guys!

That's the Spider-Friends version, alien ball falling in a meteor and repeatedly says his name and "SWARM IS YOUR MASTER" to control people with his eye beams by giving them bee wings and bug eyes.

I read that champions book when he was 1st introduced. Where he was the Nazi and was killing people. Dude had bees fly down people's throat to sting and suffocate them ! Which called for the champions to show up and stop him. I was like whoa this guy is bad ass... Years after that he showed up on " amazing friends " doing what you said aziz man! And I was like what the hell is this "@&$(!! Turning people into bees ?!and then I realize oh this is for kids... They can't have a nazi killing people on Saturday morning cartoons!! Hehe... I still like him even watered down but I like killer bees guy better!

Whoever's hand that is about to grab her is obviously a stranger and she has every reason to look concerned.

She's [blackout]the cosmic cube/tesseract/whatevertheygonnacallthethingamajingnext[/blackout]

A twofer:

I love the idea of Swarm but the actual character is idiotic. If he worked for the government, would he be a B-Man? :o

Kobik: She's pretty much the same idea as Kubik aka the same origin. They both are cubes turned into sentient things. The difference is one is a cosmic entity running around the universe that most readers have no idea exists and the other is a little kid that everyone is terrified of.

everybody has sister or a brother or a long lost clone cousin from a parallel dimension from a different earth Spider my man!:cwink:

I know **** all about the Nova Corps on a good day.

So is it pronounced with the short A like magnet, or the long A like mage? I always pronounced it the first way as a kid, but nowadays I'm pretty sure it's the second. Remember Gargoyles had that one dude called "The Magus."

'Infinity War' was when I was first getting into comics, so I got a front row seat for his big moment of glory. As such I liked him better with the short hair; the afro looks a little out of place on a purple space wizard.

Apparently it is the latter, although I've always gone with the former as well.

Eh! I never got dude other than he was the corrupt evil self of warlocky... But the white fro was cool!' Dude looked evil with that "&$$

Magus has the best evil 'Fro in comics. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar and jealous of his majesty.

Jealous?
What the heck is an evil 'Fro?

I guess it's sensible to pronounce it "Mage-os", but I automatically go with "Mag(azine)-us"

Keep in mind it's still a hard G. May-Gus is probably the best approximation.

Magus is...not a terrible villain I suppose. I liked the whole In-Betweener stuff where he had to ensure Warlock would turn into him. I re-read Infinity War recently (shortly after reading the Avengers v. Thanos trade and re-reading Gauntlet), and War is really kind of blah.

There's definitely something to his desire to be more than just Adam Warlock's shadow later on. I get the sense that Gauntlet was never conceived as a trilogy (it works better as the last part rather than the first) and Jim Starlin didn't really have anything substantive left to say on Warlock, Thanos and friends.
