He's actually really great in Secret Avengers right now where he's working for SHIELD and has a great wacky mad scientist lab with weird ****. He's also having an interesting relationship with Maria Hill almost a friendship maybe, and also calling her out that maybe how she's running things aren't very ethical and dosen't care about the agents. Outside of that he's been just a joke in everything else.

Welp.... We all know how Aziz feels. Ha. Kang is one of a handful of characters where I totally just accept the crazy, convoluted back story. Dudes a time traveling hard ass that wants to conquer on the level that is most primal, or at least what a dude thousands of years in the future thinks is primal. Kang is a threat and should be a linchpin villain in the MU, and I think that thanks most of all to Busiek, he really is. Avengers Forever has a few minor flaws, but it's a masterful continuity mine and an all around great yarn. The EMH toon epidodes with him in them are top notch, maybe the best episodes of the series. Kang's a bit of a mustache twirler, but a big team like the Avengers needs to face off against that kind of threat once in a while. I would like to see one of the definitive Avengers villains arrive on the big screen for sure, some day.

Kang is one of those guys when he shows up in a story, it can go really good or really bad. You usually know in about 5 min.

I really like him one of the greater villains in the MU. He's pretty awesome in Uncanny Avengers in particular right now. One thing i dont get is he supossed to be Reed's father or what? His history is pretty convoluted.

that dude makes my freaking head hurt! and usually i can follow time paradoxes but not with that dude! is he in the future? is it his son? is it Immortus? who the ^& is it ? and what time is it? I hate that dude and after all these years i still havent figured out is that his face or just a blue mask? and that color scheme of his? I hate that dude... what time is it?my head is starting to hurt! i need a aspirin!

Kang? For me he's just an alright character, neither like him or dislike him.

Supposedly he is an alternate universe version of Reed's dad. I don't think anyone ever tried to bridge the gap in his life from being Reed's dad to becoming Kang and later on becoming Immortus. Busiek tried to clean up the Kang/Immortus connection years ago in Avengers Forever and did as well as he could. Figuring out Kang's backstory is like trying to move mountains.

I like Kang. But yeah, time travel villains besides Skynet never made sense to me. You failed to kill someone or rule the world the 1st time? Try again! At an earlier point!! What's so hard about that?! It's silly to think anyone with mastery of free, unrestricted time travel can keep failing at whatever his goals are.

But only when I suspend my believes can I enjoy his character, because if it ain't Terminator, I don't take time travel seriously in media anymore.

The rules of time travel in the Marvel Universe are impossible to figure out, and I've learned to accept that (see my avatar for a franchise with even messier time travel). I've given up on trying to understand who exactly Kang is; I just know he's fairly entertaining in some of his stories, and that's about it. He's not someone I'm all that invested in.
