I've heard a lot of good things about the series, but haven't read it yet. So I guess I can't comment.

same! i heard good things but havent read it so i got no comment!...i do know this whole approach towards costumes to make them "realistic"and "Functional " is a totally buzzkill!! wheres the thigh highs?!( but since she looks to be a kid seems highly inappropriate!)which is probably the reason i aint getting it!
I have to be a curmudgeon about some things you know!

Never read Khan's series, but it does get a fair amount of praise. I like her look and the power set is one with lot's of potential. I like that she looks like a real teen, isn't sexed up and took the name out of pure hero worship of Carol. Other than that, I got nuthin'.

Could also be the target audience. One of things I've thought is that there are good Spider-Man comparisons. The difference is that she's a teenage girl, so she's more likely to be someone that girls would identify with.

Wow you guys are such crusty old men xD. Ms. Marvel is a great new series feels more like spider-man than spidey has in years. She's a great character and has a great supporting cast. How can you not like the costume it totally looks like something a teenage girl would make her superhero costume out of. And as i said before i dont' like my supeheroines looking like ****es so I love that they redesigned a lot of these female characters like captain marvel, spider-woman, psylocke and even black cat.

I'm suprised by the amount of indeiference and dislike towards Ms. Marvel. Well, except for BV, I knew he wouldn't like her. t: Personally, I think she's great. And I agree with L&F about female costumes. Though I'll admit I was fine with Black Cat's since it went along with the whole point of her character.

I keep hearing that. Maybe it gets better later. I mean I like it fine but I don't feel like I'm reading something that should be winning awards or anything. Glad that these companies have the balls to put out stuff like this which could be seen as risky in other media.

Dang man! and i even said i heard good stuff about her! i cant catch a break! i cant help it if those books are expensive as hell! this aint the old days when you could try a book for a 100 issues and then find out you dont like it, you know! They cost alot ! i only buy stuff which i know i will dig! plus I'm not in that book's target audience! Maybe if i had Justin Beiber posters on my wall then i would!t:
and can i help if i grew up with my Superchicks looking like Strippers!!I didnt draw em i just read em! from all the white queens, thigh high Ms. Marvels, Black Canaries and Starfires i see at comic conventions, i am not the only one who like the stripper look either! and they are wearing em!t: i have yet to see a new "Ms. Marvel outfit!" and really living in Vegas those outfits are more than the chicks around here wear!( i am always like "your mama let you house like that?!?!!") geez i cant win!

AIM IS COOL!! probably the only evil henchmen organization i would ever want to join! of course they would be really pissed at me for bringing in real bees! they would have to keep telling me that just cause we just dress like em, doesnt mean we are"beekeepers!" not seeing them with those yellow outfits is probably my only marvel cinematic disappointment!(of course some people would be like that &*(is hokey!)
of course they would have to pay me overtime for wiping MODOCK's butt and ^&*!!.... doing that stuff aint going to come cheap!.. i wonder what kinda dental plan they have!
