I feel like I read him in something but he wasn't wearing that goofy suit. Don't know much about him otherwise.

Is it just me or does his zany outfit look more like a chicken suit rather than a dragon?? LOL

Ha! i remember that dude! i think he was in my very 1st introduction to Moon Knight in a spiderman book!( or was that the "sons of the tiger!"those martial arts guys always pal around moonie and company!!) eh... that dude was your average throw away Villian of the week ! dude could breathe fire thru the nose of that dragon outfit!

and yeah while i abhor this new trend of making" Wearable everyday walking around" Costumes!.... that outfit went to the other side of the spectrum! like Duke said it looked like a ^&*ing chicken!! how are you going to scare people to do your bidding in that get-up!!haha

THE THING

Yeah, I know I did him before, I said I'll bring back already done folks.
Here's someone I'm sure I didn't use before.

DEATHLOK

The Thing: For me, he's one of my all-time Marvel favorites, he's a BIG, loveable, character.

Deathlok: I actually like him far more than his DC counterpart Cyborg, can we make a trade??!!

I don't think I agree, Cyborg started as an angry angsty whiner, but he grew to be a charming fun feller.
Deathlok is... at least he's more entertaining than Cable.

Thing- Arguable the BEST SUPERHERO the world has never known... cause outside of people who read comics nobody knows who the ^&*( he is! those FF flicks didnt help him and i doubt this new one will either!

D-LOK- i like!! but i like the 2nd one the best! the dude who was a pacifist and got a bit too nosy into their shenanigans, so his bosses at Roxxon killed him and put his brain in a killing machine! Pacifist/ killing machine.you gotta love it! i love dude would be fighting/ talking with himself cause the machine wanted to kill the &*(outta everything and he had to force it not to! thats cool! and Freakin Spawn owes alot to D-lok! that whole thing of him coming back from hell and looking in on his wife and kid that was Freakin D-loks origin..but i aint mad at em!.. hell! he stole Strange's cape and Spiderman's mask after all!

Ben is an awesome character who doesn't get enough screen time since everyone just thinks he's the 'rocky strong guy from the FF' and leaves him there.

I got nothing for Deathlok.

Ben went back in time in that issue to permanently erase his condition, and caused numerous deaths in an alternate dimension in the process, he did not go back in time to stop a super villain.
So basically, that makes him a mass murdered. (according to a certain member opinion) ;)

One mistake, the hero fixed eventually, but this one without bringing back the dead.
And Reed in that alternate reality was either dumb or was an egomaniac *****e for not given Ben something simulating Ben's powers.
Ben is awesome, an underrated character.

It was Reeds fault for being an idiot. :o

Everyone is an idiot in comics. If they weren't then it would be boring. For reference see Civil War, every single crazy racist thing that happened to mutants and every time no one killed the Joker.

Being idiots from time to time is indeed part of comic characters charm. :p

The Thing: Awesome. The only member of the F4 I care about.
Bamfometer: 9

Deathlok: Meh. Don't really care either way for him.
Bamfometer: 5

And, just wondering, what happened to your avatar, Aziz?

Aunt Petunia's favorite nephew is the bee's knees! He's got it all. He's tortured by how his life turned out made into a rocky bodied freak. But he's also good natured and noble, both in his silent suffering and in his selfless nature, always putting his neck on the line for both friends and people he doesn't even know, just cause it's the right thing to do. He is one of the best Everyman types in Mavel. He wasn't born into wealth or some secret society ect. He likes drinking a few down at the bar, a good hotdog (even if it's not Kosher ;) ), a good cigar and playing poker with his buddies. He has the working man's nobility thing (no pun) down pat and it's great as a foil to Reed's more academic view of the world. Tragic but also fun, Thing is also a dude you don't want to mess with. Hell, he was a tough man of action BEFORE the cosmic rays. In the years since he's fought all manner of foes and usually made most of them cry "mamma". He's gone toe to toe with the Hulk and lived to tell the tale. The quintessential New Yawker, I imagine Ben being a local celebrity that is very well liked. He probably is on a first name basis with every food truck operator and hot dog stand owner in a forty block radius of the Baxter Building. A funny, no BS personality, coupled with great power and an iconic design... What's not to love about the ole Blue eyed one? Nuthin' dats what, bunky.

Deathlok? I am with Vulcan on this pretty much. I found the original Manning version pretty meh. But the Collins version from the 90's was a great character. His series was well done and interesting. He was a non-violent person that was in the body of a weapon. They did good things with him in that series at least for the first 25 issues or so. They introduced the idea that in the Marvel U. the cyborg characters of every stripe were a kind of community. That was cool to me. As for the rest of the history of Lok? No clue. There is too much time travel nonsense to make heads or tales of in any rational way. It's a very cool design for a character so I think that more than anything is why Deatlok pops back up from time to time.

Thing is the best. Idol of Millions.

Deathlok? Meeeeeeeeehhhhhhh.

Sucks to that guy!i remember reading him in Spider-man! another throw away villain ( i am starting to see a pattern with you Spider Aziz:cwink:)
they tried making that guy sympathetic but he sucks.. on account i hate RATS too! hehe

Pattern? What are you talking about?
:oldrazz:

What you said.

Never was into him or his story. Not particularly compelling in any way to me.

He was in Kraven's Last Hunt, so I guess you can give him that. Otherwise, he's 100% concentrated MEH.
