Never liked Vermin much, he was kind of a bland character.

I never understood both how Spider-Man had such a hard time beating him on his own, or why on Earth Vermin is his most fear villain. In fact, I call bs on both of those facts.

Well he is a big f**kin' rat. Rats eat spiders....and anything else for that matter.

He aight in my opinion.

Um... It was cool to use him to explain all that inconsistent crap in AVENGERS FOREVER... Other than that? Who cares?

Why did Hulk leave the Avengers after everyone else decided "Oh, that little jerk was disguising as each one of us and made us fight each other. Apologies everyone"?
Lee and Kirby didn't want Hulk to remain an Avenger past being one of the founding members?

Well, lets be honest... No version of the Hulk outside of maybe the merged consciousness one that joined The Pantheon, is the sort you WANT on a team. And I think the character works best when they use him to tap into feelings of persecution, of being an ostracized outside. Being a backbone styled character of "EARTH's MIGHTIEST HEROES" doesn't really fit in with that, I think."

Yeah exactly like Krypton said! other than trying explain the crazy crap the writers made up while smokin, dude sucks and what crazier is the Dire Wraiths in ROM were exactly the same things as SP and they were much better villains!
...hmmmmm... so if Space Ghost met Space Phantom who would win...hehe

I dig that ugly bastard cuz of Avengers Forever. Other than that, eh.

In the original movies, eh. Had a whole four minutes of screen time with something like three lines, in the EU pretty much the Predator of bounty hunters. His EU version is pretty neat and badass. In the movies he kind of showed up, flew about and got booted into the Sarlacc by a blind guy.

I liked him, but in them movies he didn't do much. It would be great if he'd return in the new movies, maybe played by Temuera Morrison.

What Kevan said: He looked cool in the movies, but he was underwhelming. EU is where he really shined and became a cool character.

there are two things in our nerdom community that escapes me and that i cant put a finger on.

1) that alot think Slave girl LEIA was HOT!!! FREAKIN CARRIE FISHER!???
2) The Undying LOVE FOR THIS GUY! this guy got wasted 3 seconds in a film and i know i am taking form Anubis!( hes got it trademarked!) He got swallowed up by a Space Vagina!! A Space Sex organ!!! and really those new movies didnt do him any credit since his dad Jango went out like a ^&* too! i dont get it. i think he sucks... but this is the after the state your opinion and that's just me!:cwink:

Heresy!

Man, Bobba Fett in the films is all about mystique people. He's all terse words and formidable presence. The EU Fett is about finally living up to that mystique in someway because now there's room to finally expound on it.

And Vulcan, I refer you to Carrie Fischer in BLUES BROTHER's, and A NEW HOPE. She was a hot momma. She can't help that she got old. Just look at Kathleen Turner.

hehe i expect the CBI: comic book Inquisition to appear at my door any minute now and force me to read old comics till i get paper cuts in a musty comic den till i renounce any minute now Kryp my man! hehe

yeah so formidable he got knocked in a "space coochie" and taking out!! James Tiberius Kirk has met plenty of those in his day and he didnt fall into one! all they got was "i will be seeing you babe!"

hehe i think we are about the same age Kryp!( its why we we get along!) i saw a new hope ( and speaking of that i hate that they had to go back and new subtitles to Starwars 1) and return of the jedi in the theater!!( YES! WE ARE THAT OLD i know smart guys like Wolfie will say something!) even at her robust cinnamon bun tastiness i really never though she was that hot!! I know I know i dont have as many Mitachorins as you guys! hehe
She can't help that she got old. Just look at Kathleen Turner.
yes unfortunately "que sera sera!"it happens to the best of us... but you know as well as i do Old Cats make the best SWING Music!! SKeeeeve- bee- bop!(thats my best jazz scat!)
yeah Kathleen did hold up so well! ( i blame the cigarettes! )but i would still play 6 million years BC with Raquel Welch!

The problem with his mystique he built up over ESB and RotJ is that it vanished the second he got *****-slapped into a space vagina by a blind guy. You can make a guy sound awesome and intimidating but if he gets knocked out by a small child by accident he goes from badass to bumbling henchmen in seconds. If Darth Vader strolled in at the start of ANH and stubbed his toe and started hopping around like a fool, no matter the entrance he'd still be a laughing stock.

EU Fett is pure badass though.

He's just there in the movies, didn't give any Mystique or anything.

He looks cool. Though he went out like a puss in the movies, he's somehow managed to linger.

She's a horrible human being, but a delightful character. Considering she was created during the forgotten run of Karl Kesel, she's easy to dismiss, but I thought she was used well in her limited appearances with Kevin Smith and David Mack.

I always picture her sounding like Jessica Walter's Malory Archer.

I think it was all just the badass rubbing off of Vader onto him. Vader pretty much had him as his top guy for ESB and even made sure to mention 'No Disintegrations'. If Vader tells him he needs to be less violent than usual that must mean something awesome about him. That and he basically told Vader he better not kill Han because he's worth a lot of money to him is pretty good too since Vader just told him he'd get paid either way and as we saw in ANH no one talks back to Vader.

Did the old bat fire Matt like she wanted to do? I didn't read what Kevin Smith wrote best the first issue of the second series.
