More like Hammer and Sickle, eh Comrade? :argh:

I vaguely remember them from things but they never really were memorable beyond 'Oh them again.'

HAMMER & ANVIL

Marvel Comic's Defiant Ones... I kinda dug their gimmick. Not great characters, but I suppose they had their uses. Didn't Scourge kill them? A shame. Jade Jaws needs some compelling non-monster type villains.

Didn't Bannerless Hulk kill them in that Marvel Fanfare issue?

I have the vaguest of memories that Scourge did them in, like, he lured them out and made them think they were gonna fight Hulk and then shot them, or he shot one and then the other died later because of the bond they shared.

So he was the guy disguised as the old man "friend".

yep!! i dug em! they were the Sidney Poiter and Tony Curtis of the Supervillian set! one was a racist &*()^&*() and the other was a con who got chained together by an alien!( hehe instead of bringing cures for all earth diseases who knew aliens had an ironic sense of humor!) i use to dig those guys fighting Hulk cause they probably would have won. if they hadnt been fighting each other too!... and yeah! scourge blasted the brother in the face( how come its always the brother who gets it!) and other dude couldn't handle the feedback from that chain... all you saw was someone else picking up the chain and that was it... they really need to remodel update these dudes!! it could be BAD ASS! but i like "defiant ones!"... it won best screen play!:woot:

Marvel's Boomer? I'm pretty take him or leave him. He's a hired goon type. What really separated him from DC's Captain Boomerang? Rocket Boots? I can't think of anything too interesting about him aside from his gimmick. Maybe something more has been done with him recently but... Yeah, that's my opinion of him.

He started with discs all over his suit.
And he stood toe to toe against the Hulk.

Sometimes it's sad how they reduce characters like him to jokes, other times you think; with all the big threats around, we could use a good laugh.

Read Superior foes of Spider-Man people please! He's so great in that a manipulating, greedy, liaing son of a ***** that dosen't care about his teammates and just wants to get rich but somehow all his lying and crazy schemes somehow work, most of the time. He's totally not a guy we should follow in a comic book, but throgh all his assholness, he's a lot of fun and you have to give him credit for constatly one uping everybody, is it his gang or the likes of the Owl or Chameleon.

yeah! DC's Bommerang is better but i like dude too! i always dug him just trying to get loot! ( maybe he needed milk money!) and webhead or hornhead would show up and be like "dont you know its dangerous to play with these things! somebody might get hurt!! and they would knock him into some cans of yogurt and call it a day! he's a fun villain!

Sure, Digger's better, but this here fella's pretty great, too. Plus he has the better costume. Like L&F said, anyone here who hasn't read Superior Foes should make it a priority.

Watt's cool! i always dug him as the honary fantastic four mascot
and then he started shagging She-Hulk which made him meven cooler in my book! Watts cool!

This Boomy I'm not crazy about I prefer DCs version.

Wyatt was kind of cool but never read too much with him.

He was okay. What's he up to these days? Dead? Evil? Suddenly gay?

Wyatt's a cool supporting character. I do think that Byrne made him into a sort of beefcake for the female fans, with the way he drew him. I think it would be cool if he were to have a series where he was teamed up with Rick Jones, and maybe Amadeus Cho. Think of what that would be like? Wyatt unfortunately is sort of Gary Stu incarnate though. He's too good. Rick at least has his hipster arrogance and needy orphan thing going on. Wyatt has no sharp elbows or interesting character traits really. I like him, but can admit that over all he can be a bit dull.
