Starting with Grim Hunt event he was pretty cool.

Kaine as Scarlet Spider is amazing, I freaking love his solo series and recommend it to everyone. He's a dick a keeps saying that he's not a hero and that he's a bad person but he keeps doing good things even though he still acts like a dick while performing these good deeds. The thing with him as the other was kinda dumb and they sorta killed him off in spider-verse so...

Eh, anything related to that empire is complete bleh to me, especially with the bad mark it left on me reading how their connection began with the X-Men, how it continued, the animated adaption, the Phoenix mess.
So a big fat 'MEH' delivered her way.

I like her fight in Marvel Ultimate Alliance though.

She's great In Marjorie liu's Astonishing X-Men, where she's basically a female thor where she loves fighting drinkingand has a major bird ***** for Bobby. I also like the tragic side of her where would like to be an artist but that's forbidden for the S'hiar and all she realy knows is war.

MOVIE STAR-LORD​

Charming, fun, played by an actor that has a certain charisma... And a very derivative character in an over praised movie, which gets a pass cuz it's "fun". GOTG is not a bad film but it's very paint by numbers, is guilty of having flaws most of it's fans excoriate other films for supposedly having and frankly the characters are pretty paper thin. The film is so light a stiff breeze threatens to blow it away. Star-Lord's story started with some promise on Earth. I really thought it would be a different kind of story for Marvel. When he was singing and dancing in the temple I was totally on board. It seemed we were gonna get a character with a mix of sadness and jocularity... Instead he was just generic dude bro hero #1,787. His story in the film outside of the scene of his mother dying is the very flower of "tell, don't show" but cuz he had one liners galore, that is never brought up. This all sounds harsh but I am not saying the character or the film is bad... Just insanely over praised.

I like movie Star-Lord, but I'm kinda resentful over the fact that comic Peter has turned into him.

@KRYPTON: I don't bother with its possible flaws, I leave that to experts in finding flaws -actual and potential- to entertain me, and then forget them watching the film again.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a video game movie well received, and I like that as I like a bunch of video game movies.

@Spoons: Did they change the guy from a college graduate and an astronaut to a kid abducted by pirates to be one of them?

I get that part, but I was wondering because Matt Fraction took bits of the movie origin for Iron Man and included it in his run on that character, including the repulsor technology in his chest.
But to be fair, IM's origin requires updates every now and then, especially with the sliding timeline.

TBH, he was kind of a surly jerk during Annihilation. Started to lighten up a bit during GoTG but now he's downright goofy sometimes.

Movie Star Lord is great, I don't mind him taking over the comics at all. Spymaster, I liked in Infinity Hiest, but that 's about it. Didn't he kill Happy?

Nah, he's not the one that hospitalized Happy, it was the guy who shot his head that got Happy injured.
Pepper pulled the plug on him.
