WILLIS STRYKER

God Loves, Man Kills is one of my favorite stories of all time. I thought the original take on him was great. I didn't like it as they tried to push him more towards the movie version, though.

The guy from X-Men is William, this guy is a Luke Cage villain.

Ah crap, if I had looked at the picture I would have caught that.

I liked Diamondback in his original appearance (he was a bit cheesy and a guy who throws knives isn't the most dramatic villain for a guy with diamond-hard skin). As someone who's only started reading Luke Cage, I'm sure Stryker has done a lot more since then. His connection to Luke's past helps set him apart. I'm sure others can give a better opinion, but all I can say is I neither like nor dislike him.

He going to be in the Netflix show?

Isn't that Lady Deathstrikes father?

Hahahahaha "lord dark wind!!!" sounds like dude has a flatulence problem...and he blows!!( pun intended!) hehe

and all PowerMan Villains suck Badly!! they need to be vastly improved on that Netflick series!!the only one i kinda dug was"Powermaster who was another evil businessman ( they are always evil businessmen ) who went thru the same process as luke to get powers but the rest... eh!!

Lord Dark Wind looks a bit like Hooded Cobra Commander though.

Darkwind is indeed Deathstryke's father and the reason she is the person she is in many ways. He's also the person that came up with his own version of the Adamantium bonding process that gave Logan his enhanced skeleton and he used it on Bullseye to reinforce and heal his spine when he had broken it in the DD book back in the day. Those are actually some of my fave DD stories. I think Denny wrote them in between the Miller runs during the EARLY 80's.

Ah, I've been trying to track down the remaining issues in that arc. I've only been partly successful so far. Give me about three to four months and maybe I can give an opinion on this guy.

One thing I found interesting is that Daredevil has been quietly pushed out of Deathstryke's background in order to play up her hatred of Wolverine, but, if you actually read those stories, her hatred of Logan makes no sense.

Unless they do a Godfather kind of story as retcon.

I liked it better when GL and Iron Man teamed up during the JLA/Avengers crossover. :p

Surfer has always been a bit boring to me. I think I read this story but can't remember.

I actually preferred the interactions in that story of Thanos and Hal over Surfer and GL. I also am a bit "meh" on Kyle so that didn't help.

man i dig TRITON!!though he has never done ^&*!! he just looks cool doing it! like a Good guy creature from the black lagoon!!!plus i dig water type dudes cause theres some scary ass crap in the ocean and dudes like him and Aquaman must not be afraid of ^&&*!!plus i had his slurpee cup as a kid

i liked drinking lime slurpees outta his cup!:cwink:

Triton is cool. Finally, a character I know!

Eh, Triton's not outright bad, but I've never cared for him much. Kind of seems like he actually embodies a lot of the goofy, useless tropes wrongly associated with Aquaman.

I don't like or dislike him. He's never made much of an impression on me either way.

I like the Inhumans, but Triton may be far and away the most expendable one. I like the fact that he can't breathe on land, though.

Has he appeared in the new books?

I love the Inhumans, but don't know much about Triton. I think he deserves a bit more spotlight.

Mike he shows up from time to time in Uncanny Inhumans and looks like he will have a bit of a part to play in CW 2.

I thought said Blastaar. :(

No idea about this guy.
