For some reason I really like the Prowler (probably cause of the costume) and Im happy to see that hes going to have a major role in Slotts new ASM run.

i always dug Prowler! but i have a love/ hate thing going on!the name cause it really scares the %^&8 outta an innocent civilian walking on the street at night and hate that he really didnt have any superpowers! just your basic street level guy!..but then i LOVE the name cause its pretty BAD ASS to strike fear in evil doers and that outfit is pretty freaking sweet!!! I dig that he's a guy with a name like that who would make a cool bad guy but haoppens to be a sweet ass good guy and a trusted friend to spidey!! Prowler rocks!!

It would be cool to see him in the MCU.

Regards to the comic, I think it would be cool if they emphasized his relation to Abe Brown, one of the Sons of the Tiger.

I like Hobie. I remember reading him in a few things and thought he was cool then I didn't see anything with him for a long time. :p

DUKE

Well, what I can say about the Joe's 2nd in command, First Sergeant, Duke. I just love the guy, he's tough as nails, no nonsense guy, served his country with distinction in Vietnam & now is one of the most awesome leaders, in the G.I.Joe command chain. I also love every episode he was on during the cartoon's time on the air & I feel he was underused & gave way to Flint quite a bit. I also love the way Michael Bell (a legend in voice animation) voiced him with his distinct, gruff, voice!!! LOVE Duke!!!!

BTW Aziz, you made my day with todays character!!!:yay:

Duke was just heroic in this clip!!!

Prowler is cool, and I love that Slott brought him back. His new role is one of the best parts of the TASM relaunch.

Really?
Duke of the G.I. Joe, in the universe Marvel?
It's very strange and would have stayed confused.

I'd like to see some characters how X-Men (the second version shown in "Deadly Genesis", mainly Vulcan, Sway and Petra).

Other thing interesting would be the old Guardians of Galaxy (future version).

I won't oppose them and Transformers G1 being licensed to Marvel once more.

Me neither, but i can not to imagine they in the same universe (mainly Transformers).
But, of course, with a writer decent could be to arise a great histories.:yay:

The only one of the Horizon crew I feel indifference about.

I've never read that much of SM that had him working there. I liked what I read though.

Where's that picture from?

I haven't seen Jessica Jones yet. From the comics, he started off weak (as did much of Daredevil's villains), but he had a lot of potential that worked well. The Daredevil: Yellow version made him creepy. Jim Shooter (iirc) used him well (Heather Glen's father's arc). I thought Mark Waid's Purple Children two-parter was one of the stronger ones in Volume 4 (plus, it really explored the idea of being someone who wasn't sure if people actually did something because they wanted to or not).

The whole Horizon Labs angle in the books went no where interesting. While this isn't an opinion on Max, I can't help but be reminded of what all he brought into the books that I was meh about when I'm reminded of Max, since it was his company.

Pretty much, Slott didn't do anything substantial with Horizon Lab, those characters, or Max, so like anything Slott writes, at best its all a fat-ass meeeeeehhh...

In fact Max was soooo meeeeehhh, that when he had his gay marriage, I never saw the signs. I'm not saying Max being gay came out of nowhere, just that he was sooooo just there, no one would have seen those signs. I guess its great no one made a big deal out of it (not all characters need to be outted in some over-the-top over-dramatic way), but I doubt that was what Slott had in mind.

So, Max Modell. The empitome of Dan Slott; a fat-ass meeeeehhh...

I like the Purple Man. He's a creepy ****er that everyone hates but Marvel will never kill off permanently. He's always made for interesting books and one of the reasons I liked Alias was because they helped show just how dark having powers can get.

I can't believe they got David Tennant to play him. Holy ****.

Ole Purple Face is a great example that you can mine continuity and use concepts and characters that haven't been used to their potential for a variety of reasons, and make something compelling and interesting. I mean... Purple Man? Tell a fan from 20years ago that they would bring back Killgrave and turn him into a really terrifying character and You'd get laughed at.

I am only two episodes into the Jone Netflix show and dear Zod... They have crafted a great villainous character already and I haven't even seen that much of him. Tenant and the writers in two episodes seem to be giving us another great Netflix Marvel villain.

They have a lot of great villains that have potential to be very scary if they made it work right. Purple man was just kind of a nuisance up until they figured out "Hey, he can make you do anything? What if we had a superhero that wasn't able to beat him and he beat them?". Look at any of the really powerful guys that just want to rob banks like Electro. If he got an IQ jump of a few points and got some book learning then he'd be pretty much unstoppable.

Kilgrave also has a great power for a tv show. There's nothing to show, just reactions from the actors. Unless they want to do something special with it then all they have is David Tennant (who is a fantastic actor) just walk about and talk to people and he'll be terrifying. :D
