State Your Opinion on A Character

I like what little I've read about Doctor Mid-Nite II so far. I'm still working on reading the pre-OYL JSA series. But everything I have read of that character from that serious and in cameos since have all been well received. From what I understand he is the medic of the team but can also do some decent fighting and has the blackout bombs which can also aid the team for escape and such.

Yeah, that's pretty much on the nose. Plus, he has a pet owl, which is awesome. His mini-series was quite good. It showed how he is unique and all that jazz, and was actually revisited in JSA:Confidential. There's actually a JSA issue where he has an interaction with Batman that's pretty entertaining. I've always had a soft-spot for the guy. He's certainly the nerd of the Justice Society. Diana likes him but never enough to be with him because he's that guy.

Owls are :awesome: and lovely

And Dr Midnite has an owl that can help him with his crime fighting. That makes it even cooler

I dig Dr. Midnite.

Didn't like that Black Canary Dumped him for f**kin' Ollie.

Other than that I dig that he's become the go to guy for super Medical problems.

Yep that was some boo' ****. Dr Midnite is way better than Ollie.

Though I didnt really want Black Canary to be with either of them. The only character I want her to get together with is Oracle :hrt:

But I dig Dr Midnite. He's compassionate and a bad ass at the same time and he doesn't just beat up bad guys he works as a real doctor and has clinics set up to help people.

I like Dr. Mid-Nite in what little I've read of him (those instances mostly confined to his brief interactions with Power Girl in the Conner and Palmiotti series).
I liked in Robin Year one where he beat Dick nearly to death with a baseball bat.

I don't know why......
Who doesn't love a good story about furiously beating Dick?

I'm wondering DCnU what the relationship between Ollie and Dinah is going to be. If Superman and Lois aren't married, there's no way in **** that GA and BC are

I love Doctor Mid-Nite. I liked the mini that Matt Wagner wrote, but since then it seems that Mid-Nite is sort of stuck to chilling in the lab and healing people. I would love to see another solo featuring the guy. He's got a lot of untapped potential.

I can understand people who liked that relationship that were aware of it and read it but I didn't know of it til after Ollie was back with her and personally one of my favorite Green Arrow moments in all his history is when he comes back to life and Dinah says to him "call me Pretty Bird" with tears in her eyes.

I'm a sap. That's one of my favorite romantic instances in comics. Sasha and Mr. Terrific and how they got together in Checkmate being my numero uno.

I can't find any moments between Ollie and Dinah romantic. She deserves a lot better.

Pieter is hot.

Would have loved to see that relationship go further.

They shouldn't have been anyway.

Yeah, I dig Two-Face. Mainly due to the Animated Series.

When written well, he's easily one of Batman's top rogues. Which is saying something.

Agreed. However, after seeing that Robot Chicken skit where he became Four-Face it's becoming harder for me to take the character seriously. :woot:

Captain_Marvel_Junior.jpg

Here's a guy I never really understood. He's got the same powers as Captain Marvel. Looks just like Captain Marvel. What's the point.

He's Captain Marvel if he was an Elvis fan

I like him because I enjoy the Marvel family adventures. And his bestest friend is a lovely talking tiger called Tawky Tawny :)

I can't find any moments between Ollie and Dinah romantic. She deserves a lot better.

She deserves to be with Barbara Gordon :atp:

I'm hoping those two hook up in either Birds of Prey or Batgirl

He, like most of the Marvel Family, is one of those characters I would Love to love, but I have just not seen enough good stuff with him in it.

I will say this, I dig his look more than I dig the Big Red Cheeses. One of the best classic uniforms of all time.

He has a fab outfit

Have you read any of the golden age stories about the Marvel Family 'Nubsy

I don't read anything made before 1986. :o

Well to be fair, we're all full of s**t.

Unless you got a colonoscopy in the morning. :o

He has the same costume as the big red cheese. I don't understand. Also, Elvis was inspired by him, not vice versa.

He's supposed to be a sympathetic character since his actual persona is mobile-challenged, given the miraculous powers of the Wizard.

Problem is, the Marvel family a crowded bunch with no real...Legacy. All the members of the Marvels were all around at around the same time and that makes it hard to take them seriously.
