I don't know why they never had Albert just come out of the closet and declare his nuclear love for Black Adam. If anything just to see the awkward antics such a revelation will create between the two. Just always seemed like he tried playing pedo bear with Stargirl just to compensate for his true feelings.

I for some reason am digging these threads you basically talk a bunch of crap about characters and dont have to back it up if you dont want too.Thats great!

1) Hawkman- freaking rocks! even with that convoluted history! dig that reincarnated Egyptian king or Space cop. I always like bird referenced heroes. Plus he gots that tragic never to be happy. I am pissed so i am going to take it out on you!which makes him one mean ass pissed off guy!I love that!
2) Two-face- Mannnn! come on! Batman has some of the greatest villains ever!2 face isnt the exception. He's up there as one of the greatest literary villains ever next to the joker. Most def Rocks!
3) Dr. Midnight- Rocks. i dig that "i got a handicap but that anit going to stop me from beating your ass!"Heroes with handicaps definitely rock! they show us that we can over come whatever things that life might throw our way!
4) Capt Marvel jr.- Sucks!! I dont think Capt Marvel is all that! " World's mightiest mortal!" what the hell does that mean?! Superman can still kick his ass and jr. is only a smaller suckerer version of him!

Okay, next up:

I liked him a ton in both Infinite and Final Crisis. Somehow, even in a world of speed and light based super heroes, his power set seems unique and is often used in original and creative ways. And his costume is cool, in both design and color.

I dig metron! he's basically "Hi! i am here to tell you that your butts are toast and there's nothing you can do about it! buh bye!! that whole Marvel watcher thing.( these guys are like the ultimate voyeurs!)do they have a stack of videotapes and sit in their sanctuary watching this stuff play over and over again? Dude got a cool ass look with that mobius recliner. The coolest thing thing he every did for me was to take Lex luthor to find the anti -life equation in theJustice league cartoon! Kinda like" i aint butting in but i am." So Darkseid dont have our asses working in the fire pits without any lunchbreaks!

Dig Ray! especially i concur he was kick ass in Infinite crisis when the rest of the freedom fighters got blown to kingdom come smithereens! I loved his book! it had a sorta independent feel to it ,guess that's why it never caught on and for design that dude is kick ass! Kinda got that Ultra man fin on his head look that i love! Ray Rocketh!

Like most of the New Gods that aren't Orion (Cuz I like him just fine), I"ve always wanted to like them, but I've never really seen anything to make me like them. Metron is one such a character.

But man do I dig his look.

Like most if not all characters designed by Jack Kirby he looks absolutely amazing

I liked the Ray when he first showed up but eventually he like many of the mid to late 90s DC characters got shafted with short runs like Aztek. He's one of those untapped potential characters that just...ends up falling short of joining a bigger team/stable like JSA or the JLA. I'm sure most of you guys would agree that the Freedom Fighters aren't exactly high up the food chain.

He'd easily carry his own series or movie because:
1) He has a unique power
2)He doesn't have an embedded origin or legacy
3)He is fairly independent from the rest of the DCU.

I could see a director going wild with the Ray and turning it into a sleeper hit.

As Black Vulcan says, maybe its time we nominated a couple of thread leaders. Womp, you up for it since you got the ball rolling again?

Yeah, I've been having a good time with it, but whoever wants to pipe in with a character is more than welcome. There will be days where I'm not on the Hype!, so if you feel like discussing Dan Garret or Wesley Dodds or Ch'p, go for it.

Yeah, we had kind of a problem with the Marvel version of this thread. The guy that started these got banned, and came back with another account and took it over again after we had already decided to move on without him. And he was getting really pissy about it.

But, he's gone again.
