Rex is an 8 on the rocktor scale. I dig that unlike all the other guys " boo hoo hooing!" he's written most of the time as *&^% it! i am what i am and i am going to make the best out of it I seriously hate these angsty guys now. Rex would be "shut the hell up and lets go get drunk and get Sapphire and some of her girl friends over for a pillow fight!" He and Lightning was the only reasons i kept buying that stupid outsiders book. i mean come on! how can you be crying when you could turn into chloroform and cause a whole sorority house to.... ummm nevermind!

* note- Black Vulcan doesnt condone turning oneself into chloroform and causing a whole house full of sorority co-eds to pass out.. but it does sound like fun!

Metamorpho and the Doom Patrol were DC's first attempts to do Marvel style characters, and I think they both succeeded greatly. He was co-created by Ramona Fradon, who is probably the most prolific female American comics artist.

I couldn't disagree more.

Rex rules. I just hope he makes it into DCnU and were not just stuck with that female knockoff Johns invented for Flashpoint and will also use in future JL issues.

Seriously I don't know how they claim that Batman's history is mostly intact and we have still yet to see any of The Outsiders in any of the new 52 titles. I miss Halo, Metamorpho, Black Lightning and Katana dammit.

Metamorpho was in the Batman INC Leviathan Strikes book but I do believe at the beginning they said the story took place before Flashpoint and the New 52.

However, at the end of the story they said it would continue on in Batman INC coming out later this year. So, it's all very confusing. I'm sure that you'll eventually see the character.

I liked him in that story with Indigo who turned out to be Braniac 8. Very sad. Aaaand that's all I can really say about him.

That's right, I"m going all Fables on you mofo's, and shame on you if you haven't read it.

Haven't kept up with Jack since he was banished from the Farm and went out on his own. Over 100 issues later and Jack is STILL separate from the main story.

That's the thing about Fables. Things don't (usually) get undone. I'm not used to that in comics.

She seems a lot happier these days than when she was begging the reaper to help her die

No that was Element GIRL; they're 2 different characters.

On to Jack. He is the **** on account of him being the only comic book character that is big enough an ******* to sometimes remind me of myself. Bigby is actually my favorite character in that book but he's certainly not the most fun to read about. It was priceless when he found out he banged his own sisters and instead of shrugging it off as expected was actually genuinely disgusted lol. Those type of scenarios don't write themselves unless the character is just that good. There is a reason why Jack got his own spinoff after all t:

Well, he kinda does. He's Immortal.

Especially after he stole all of Blue Beards money, went to Hollywood, started his own production studio, and made four of the highest grossing films of all time about himself.

Jack is a very awesome character. I was sorely disappointed when they cancelled the Jack of Fables book. I'm hoping that he comes back into the main book in some way...maybe dedicate a story arc that updates what he's been up to.
