I'm more of a Brainiac 5, Mon-El, and the Legionnaires 3 kind of guy. That said, I am a fan of all of the Legionnaires.

it is pretty stupid that some books get to keep continuity while others get rebooted......

I am just glad that at least some of the comics are keeping their continuity

I wish that none of DC's comic books were being rebooted but as they are I'm happy that some of their comic books won't be changing their continuity

will it affect the value of previous comic books that were launched before this reboot/relaunch?

I dunno, personally i thought its great DC is making great measures to make superheroes relevant to teens now. Those costumes with underpants on the outside looks terrible, honestly. I can't fathom why some fanboys gets so insistent on their heroes wearing underwear on the outside, its not even sexy.

I haven't been reading comics for a long time, my first book was action comic 900, haha and I've been purchasing flashpoint series and am totally excited about the relaunch this September, i will even attempt to buy several number 1s this September because everything is a clean slate and i can start afresh.

No. Initially people that it was a total reboot of the continuity and that their stories would not matter. If you're referring to a monetary value thing then thats absolutely untrue.

I'm not as upset as i was when i first heard about the reboot now

We are still getting a Batwoman ongoing series and Batman Inc is still around so I'm happy

Those new Teen Titans costumes make me cry every time i look at them though

i don't really think teen titans outfit look as bad as everyone says, cos i think they're changing up cassie n connor's character, so their outfit outta match with their characters.

the old cassie looked too much like a barbie doll and connor looked too much like a farm boy turn male model. they both kinda look darker now, not that i really loved their new outfits or whatsoever.

tim and bart kinda looked better imo.

There is a number of reasons why Batman hasn't been touched: not entrenched in a bloody legal battle, already makes billions of dollars, and messing with Morrison's story would cause the death god Ogbunabali to come out of the Ghost Zone and eat your brain. While Geoff Johns is pretty much top dog of how DC proceeds creatively so Green Lantern stays too.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Superboy now acted like his Hulk-like Young Justice cartoon counterpart

It's a reboot for most of the characters, just not the cash cows. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Supes, if you liked stuff about them from the previous continuity then say goodbye cuz they taffying every thing up in here.

Getting rid of the overunderpants may be a good idea (Though I never had a problem with it), but when you replace it with needless armor, seams, and crap, well, not much of a difference.


And if you think those Teen Titans costumes work then you've got bigger problems. I suggest Lasik.

im always up for something new, i read superman earth one and thought it was absolutely brilliant, who wouldve thought mixing edward cullen and superman would become the best selling graphic novel of the year.
I believe we should look at things with an open mind and if it really sucked by the time it is released then thats the time to complain.

and honestly, red robin and kid flash really looks more fashion forward and chic with the new style.

I'm just really neutral about superboy n wondergirl, the old costumes looked more attractive tbh but the new ones look more bad ass. imo

I am still really pissed about Dick getting the boot. I thought he was beyond a great Batman, and I feel that there was more than enough room for two Batmen in Gotham.

Here here! DC could have announced that they were making Superman an elderly Chinese woman and I wouldn't care so long as we were still getting those two.

Agreed. Along with the lack of a Captain Marvel book and the JSA being nowhere in sight this was my biggest disappointment of the relaunch. The idea of Nightwing being Batman's equal is an idea that simply does not work because that identity is forever tied to being one spun off of Batman. Dick putting on the cowl was him becoming an A-List hero and there's no real way to sell him going back to the Nightwing identity as anything other than regression to his B-level status.

It sounds like Dick and all the other heroes who were members of Batman Inc still will be but Bruce will be the only one in an actual Batman costume
