That's cool

Can't see that image, "unregistered domain"

But this is a good costume

That costume worked because it wasn't a costume. I don't see why he would wear one, either. Just tattered-ish black street clothes, nothing comic-booky.

Anyway, here's the pic.

I never liked Morbius.

Vampires who ain't Vampires. GTFO. :o

But then I guess you guys already knew that.

Son of Satan....one of those characters I wanna like, but haven't really read much with him in it.

One of the few spidey characters I'm more familiar with through adaptations and cartoons rather than comic books.
I find it practically impossible to even think about Morbius without automatically heraring this in my head:

"FFFFFFELLLICCCIAAAAAA, H'I NAAAY'D PLAAAAAAAAASMAAAAAAAA!!!"

Morbius is utterly fantastic as the leader of the Legion of Monsters. Before that, I was pretty indifferent to him.

The Son of Satan has improved recently as well by going against the typical hero route people shoehorn him into and allowing him more freedom as something of a free agent. He's interested in preserving the world and saving humans because it pisses his father off, but he'll betray you at the drop of a hat if something else comes along that better suits his interests.

1st i dig both of these characters for 1st teaching me as a kid that just because of your surroundings and yadda yadda... you can break against type! thats awesome! 2nd they both have some of the coolest names ever!!"Damion Hellstrom" and "Morbius" Thats cool ass!

i dig SOS. again if stupid marvel was to ever get their act together. they have the makings of some great horror books. He's the freakin devil's son for crying out loud!! His expolits would make a great book exorcising his father from people or as leader of a new monster squad. he gets a 3 on the rock. the potential for greatness is there.

Moribus- i never considered a villain. He's again that tortured guy who has to survive during what he hates. Alot of time he teamed up with other heroes. so i dont think of him as a villain. i totally dig that "science Vampire"( unlike Anubis hehe) a vampire born in science that was cool!!i got tired of those other ones, so he was something new.mike's a 5 on the rock for me.

I dig Morbius. I like what Slott has done with the character in his Amazing Spidey run.

I'm just now getting into the Slott Spidey run, so I'm looking forward to reading what he's done with Morbius. Can't say I love or hate Morbius, so I'm a bit excited considering I'm liking Slott's work.

Well, what he's done with Morbius isn't until later in the run. There was just recently a .1 issue dedicated to him and the reveal of what Morbius has been doing is pretty freakin' sweet.

Ahh. Well I just got done with the first 4 issues of Big Time, so I'll be reading that one when I catch up.

What's that? I thought the only thing he'd been doing is running Monster Metropolis with the rest of the Legion of Monsters.

I wouldn't say the Hulk fights like a 3 year old throwing a tantrum. I'd say he fights like an animal, he attacks based on instinct and his moves are based on the experience he's amassed over the years.

Now Abomination is more skilled, but the turning point of the fights usually is the Hulk is stronger. So eventually no amount Spetsnaz training is going to help.

Imagine a unarmed soldier vs a gorilla. Yes the unarmed soldier is better trained, and knows plenty of locks and holds and pressure points. But the gorilla is so powerful, and so thick skinned that none of thats going to mean **** when he's hammer fisting you wildly into the ground.

As of my opinion of Abomination. I'd say hes my second favorite Hulk baddie. Next to Absorbing man.

Now this is a very good post, I disagree on a few points.

Firstly a three year old fights on pure instinct. Secondly while I would agree a spetznaz soldier vs a gorilla in a small cage would be obvious but just out in the jungle? I'd give the spetznaz the edge 9/10. But that assumes that comparison is valid and it isn't. Abomination is stronger at a resting state than the hulk. So it's more like a bigger spetznaz trained gorilla vs a smaller gorilla that may possibly get stronger as the fight goes on.

Bottom line and what I was going with: Abom is tougher initially because he's stronger and because he's an actual trained killer. I think most fights wouldn't last long enough for the hulk to get strong enough to overcome his initial disadvantage but if he did he would win as he has in the past.

As for the rest, son of satan is cool, I've enjoyed his mini's in the past.

Morbius less so. The only time I've liked him was in a novel of Spider-Man where there was a massive blizzard in NY. Since everyone was inside morbius had no one to feed on and was mad with hunger. Also the cold didn't effect him. But peter had the issue of literally freezing and his web shooters failing cause the fluid froze. That had him looking like a serious threat. Other than that I've never bought him as someone dangerous to Spider-Man.

Kinda indifferent to the SOS, although as was mentioned earlier I'd be open to seeing what could be done with the character. (Especially since I tend to lean towards enjoying most of the supernatural/spooky characters).

Love Morbius, partly because he differs from the vampire mythos, and partly because, also previously mentioned, he ain't an out-and-out evil dude. I don't like him more than Dracula, but I would have him as number two in the vamp sweepstakes for me...

S.O.S. kinda sucks and he screwed up Hellcat and Defenders.

Morbius I like.

E-Man and TheCorpulent1, he has a cameo in Spider-Island, a very effective one

He was in the latests .1 issue. Because they just.wont.stop with the .1 .2 .8 crap.

With the exception of the venom circle of four (cause it was really just a modified miniseries) I'm not gonna buy anything .1. I don't see them ever being relevant and if I'm already reading the book I don't need an issue that's a recap (isn't that what the recap page is for?).

Circle of Four blows, so even that one isn't a just reason. I get that the miniseries was originally going to crossover into 4 titles, but that doesn't change the fact that they could have just released four normal numbered issues in one month. Rather Venom issues 13, 14, 15, & 16 in Feb than 13.1, 13.2, etc...its the same thing, without this decimal bull...

The whole point of these point one issues was to be a jump on point for newbies, and this is an example of how Marvel missed the...point.

I thought it was pretty good for what it was. And if you're going to use the .1's effectively it actually made sense as that whole story happened between venom 13 and 14. So numbering wise it actually felt like it made a lot more sense. But I can see where you're coming from. I do think releasing four standard issues in one month might be a bit much but with that you could (and lots of people did) just skip a month and not feel you've missed any large part of the run.

I guess I'm saying that as a jump on point it fails, but as a filler point for something like that it made a lot more sense in my eyes.

I can agree, but you still have to admit that by that logic, all of Marvel's titles' arcs should initiate the.1 numbering. So if we get a four part Wolverine arc, then the numbering should be Wolverine 411.1, 411.2, etc. But that's not what Marvel does. They keep the issues standard even if the story is a multiparter. This was just an excuse for Marvel to play around with their weird numbering.

I had the same rant when they messed up Incredible Hulks numbering. IH (WWH era) went from issue 100 something to suddenly "Incredible Herc", new title, new leads, but HULK's numbering? Then when Hulk came back, the series jumped up to issue 600?? The hell, Marvel, THE HELL?!

hmmm more love for Morbius than i thought... oh and i dig the outdated costume the best!:cwink:
anyways Lets see...

She’s Hank Pym’s wife/daughter/ granddaughter/ daughter in law. The Wasp’s sister/ daughter/ granddaughter/ daughter in law. Ultron’s mom/ aunt/ bride/ sister/ daughter. The Vision and Wonder man’s sister/ aunt/ grandmother/ stepmother… Man! does this chick have issues!! It’s

I've always found her an interesting character. She seems to have a sort of melancholy about her that makes one drawn to her. And she has a great look.

She made my head spin
