State Your Opinion on a Marvel Character - Part 1

I like Forge, he was always cool. Liked him in the 90s cartoon.

Forge became one of an increasing number of characters that X-Men writers have had no clue what to do with since the late 90's. That's a shame really, because Forge is a pretty cool character. When he died a couple years back, nobody even noticed.

When did he die? Where have I been?

See? Nobody noticed. His death got about as much reaction as that Ariel chick in Second Coming.

Anyway, Forge died during the "Ghost Box" arc of Astonishing X-Men. That was back in 2009.

Yeah, Ariel was kind of forgettable in Second Coming. I'd never even heard of her before that so the death had no real effect on me (Nightcrawler on the other hand...dammit).

That would explain why I didn't know about Forge's death, I read Whedon's Astonishing X-men but I haven't read past that in that series.

I love the X-Men story with him as a guest in Dr. Doom's castle

Man, I love Glenn Fabry's work but that is a horrible depiction of Arcade.....who's awesome by the way.

I like him a lot. Perfect type of villain for a team. It gives everyone on the team something to fight individually. Personally I'd love to see how they do him in a movie, but they'd probably use him as an excuse to have Wolverine save everybody.

Maaaaaannn! if i everrr go to the dark side and come into alot of bread.. I would become ARCADE! I think i have just the right persona to be whacking people on the dumbo ride! Only i would be sneaker and let them think it was a normal one!(evil hehe!) you could just see that dude at a villain's pow- wow, cracking jokes at the Red Sull and Doom's expense. pissing Doom off! Yeah hehe! i could see myself doing that!Plus that dude is pimp glorious in that suit!(Little known fact about BV: i have a white suit cause of dude... wha?!? dont look at me like that.. i was a big Xhead back in the day!) only I aint on the dark side. Cade is a 10 on the rocktor scale!

Arcade's great - I also love that X-Men story with Doom/Arcade where Doom turns Storm into a statue.

Arcade is fun, he seems more like a DC villain to me, though.

Maximus is of course, brilliant.

Maximus was great in the Jenkins/Lee Inhumans series from the first batch of Marvel Knights. In fact nearly everything in that series was great.
