Should Pennywise give off sinister vibes, though? I thought the whole point of the disguise was so that kids would fee comfortable approaching him.

seems creepy lol

Kinda reminds me of Michael Pitt.

Well, yeah, I think there's the initial wolf in sheep's clothing aspect of it, but I don't think he keeps up the facade for long, if at all where the Losers Club is concerned.

Is this guy any good? I tried giving Hemlock Grove a shot years ago, but it bored me to tears and I abandoned it. Can't remember him from it. And I haven't seen any of the Divergent films.

Since both actors are in their 20s , I assume Pennywise is suppose to have a youthful appearance?

I do prefer Bill's look more though.

Apparently the kid from Midnight Special is playing Bill.

The thing about the casting of Will Pouter was, he was a younger up and comer who is totally a character actor. He's terrific.

Also, he has an idiosyncratic face; almost like Andy Serkis (larger eyes, wide mouth) and with the make-up, it could heighten the effect.

I was really looking forward to his Pennywise. Especially in Cary's hands. Such a shame that isn't happening anymore.

Bill comes from a talented family, so we'll see. His bro Alexander is good too, though I don' know he's the leading man type. It's hard to say. Plus he needs more sleep because Alex has them big eye bags.

Also:
Director Andy Muschietti (Mama) is also close to adding Jaeden Lieberher (St. Vincent), Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor to the horror project to fill out The Losers’ Club — the central group of friends in the story.

Like, lol wtf a teenage-looking Pennywise going after little kids haha. This might be interesting.

Well hopefully this King adaption is not cursed.
Been awhile since anything of his made it to screen.

I'm assuming they're still casting the girl right?

They're probably not doing that really weird ******** scene right?

I think Will Poulter would have been great but I also dig his loyalty to Fukunaga. Haven't seen Hemlock Grove, but I like that they are going in a different direction with Pennywise, I'm on board with a 6'4 Michael Pitt looking scary clown:woot:

Pffft. The real question is whether he'll be more horrifying than Bozo.

Bill is the most sinister looking member of the Skarsgard clan.

Gunnar Skarsgard is the creepiest of them all
