totally agree with you dude, the episode well written at some parts i just loved seeing Gobby back in a full episode again.I LOVED Harry's little addiction sPeech. Kids NEED to hear this kind of stuff and it was just so poignant and well done.
I gave the episode and 8. My biggest qualms were the aforementioned paradox regarding Peter & Mark's voice recognition and Gobby, who's a mixed bag. He comes off as the stereotypical "effeminate weirdo villain" (Scar, Xerxes, Riddler, "Him") mixed in with The Joker. It's a little hard to take him seriously as a mob boss when he's got "Please kick my ass!" just written all over him but he does have his moments. However, walking around in broad daylight in a trenchcoat and fedora are
As far as tragedy episodes go, this one may well be my favorite.

I would be 100% behind this explanation, if it wasn't for Identity Crisis. However I'm still tempted to go with this clarification.I agree to a point but there is a difference.
Peter, Liz and MJ are all actively looking for Mark so it would be more natural to think of Mark and after seeing Molten Man it's far easier to recognise him under the armour than Peter under the mask.
I totally agree with this. Mark reminded me so much of Max in Interactions.I enjoyed this episode a lot with it being a reminiscent of season 1 episodes where the super villains were created but it had far more emotional impact due to the characters involved and the background players in the story. I really liked the use of the flashback device in the episode.
Because Tombstone knows that the Goblin is a superhumanly strong psychopath with an arsenal of high-tech weapons and a remote-controlled glider? Gobby may look silly, but he's an incredibly dangerous enemy- look at the way he takes apart the crooks at Gaxton's with minimal effort. Tombstone is not a stupid man, and knows to pick his battles. He may well have a scheme to take the Goblin down that we simply don't know about.norman's more intimidating than goblin. Don't know why tombstone doesn't beat him silly.
After seeing this episode, I've got to say Hammerhead is the biggest idiot for not realizing he got played. Seriously he did majority of the Green Goblin's dirty work without knowing he's not gonna get anything out of it.
What a tool.
HOORAY FOR THE RETURN OF PANTS-LESS LIZ

As for Spidey and others being able to recognize Mark as the Molten Man due to his voice, while no one recognizes Spidey's voice as Peter's, I suppose one could argue that the mask somewhat muffles Peter's voice making it harder to recognize, not to mention he slightly changes it's pitch to some degree. Hmm, maybe the series should hand out no prizes?t:
