If I remember correctly, that was only mentioned in written form in one of the psychiatrist's documents. Why should they waste time filming something that wasn't even in the comic? There are time constraints already.

That was on one of those report pages in passing, and not anything to do with the characters actions. Has no place outside of a voiceover saying "Stanleys mother was murdered by her pimp, his responce was 'Good'". Out of all little things, why that?

i hope we get to see some decent hollis mason flashbacks...like him meeting captain carnage (now a reformed christian) in the grocery store. and of course moe vernon with the fake breasts playing "ride of the valkaries" /

their doing an animated version of black freighter to be released before the movie...voice by gerard butler. though i hope it has a significant place in the movie as well. especially adriens line about his dream "that im swimming towards a giant...nevermind" i loved that

It was Ror's hooker mother who was killed that way by one of her johns and it wasn ever shown on panel, it was just told to Ror. If it wasn't shown on panel, why would it show up onscreen?

Why would they show the death of Ror's mother, it makes more sense if it was just told him and he just says "good", they don't need to waste time showing something, when showing it adds nothing to the story.
