Showed new #SuicideSquad trailer to friend who didn't like BvS - & he didn't like this either!!! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!!

It's simple: A studio who believes in their characters and stays true to what it is. Not try to make it into something it's not. That's not too much to ask. They got David Ayer who isn't Snyder which is a positive, but I'm afraid now since BVS of all things was so corporate, God knows what WB is doing with the solos. And given the marketing and their recent decisions yes, it's worrying. It's crystal clear where it's flabbergasting: This studio has no clue about HOW to make this work. These aren't unfounded. They're legitimate concerns from a studio that has a horrible track record. I just can't believe especially after BVS, people still aren't at least questioning these things.
Warner Brothers as a studio handling these characters. The studio who claims to be director driven when the same studio who was loyal to Snyder despite his ****** movies is STILL able to **** up something like this, the spear head of the DCCU for a first impression. If that's how they handle someone like Snyder as someone who has been with them for so long, I cringe to think to what they're going to enforce on Ayer. At the end of the day, it's WB running this show. There's a pattern here. A common denominator. It's no coincidence with every bad DC movie (and most of them are bad) is made by WB. And with them wanting to make a DCCU, do you honestly expect me to have faith in them for anything at this point? Especially with that mess of a trailer?
Oh wow. Didn't recognize him.

I have it on good authority about Leto's behavior. And it relates to his ego. Therefore, it's possible. I'm just not ready to be convinced, even if every person who worked on the film said he scared them or made them stop working, etc. It's just hype until the movie comes out.
Someone bought it. And it wasn't cheap. So, from where does one acquire a purple crocodile skin trench coat?
Ayer himself said that the studio loved the movie so much they asked him what else did he want. I doubt WB is enforcing anything on Ayer, also he's the one who brought Batman in SS not WB or Zack.
dont mind him i am sure he will just say well he is the director of course he'd say that
I kinda get what you're saying Doc Jones, but I will say I still have good faith on this movie just solely on the fact neither Snyder or his wife had a hand in the making of this. And plus it's Ayer who directed and wrote it.
Enough of this chit chat

I think at the end of the day it will be better than BVS (that isn't hard to do and isn't saying much), but the question is how much it will be. I think whatever potential this movie has will be cut down though thanks to WB.
Am I wrong or he missing his forehead tat?
I doubt critics sanity at this point. They will enjoy bashing the hell out of it. Regardless of quality. Main triggers will be - the tone, sexism, violence against women, Letoker isn't remotely as good as Ledger, not enough levity. And of course - the story lacks focus and characters lack motivation. Also, Superman is mentioned in negative quality.I think this movie gonna be great and do well with critics imho. I hope they show something in the event today.

There's no conspiracy. Just collective madness.Critics are people like you and me. If the movie is great, the majority will act accordingly. There is no conspiracy.
