I'm starting to think DC has learned what NOT to do from BvS

It's hard to express how much it means to me, seeing this side of the DC universe come to life on film with such faithful execution. It's like a page out of Jeph Loeb's Hush and the first two Arkham games made manifest in a real-world setting.

Doesn't matter, SS is more in with the "casual general audiance" than BVS ever was.

Well, tracking is more indicative of general audience interest, whereas website traffic on fandom boards is owed mostly to hardcore fans.

You mean for you, right? There were critics who actually said that the Dark Knight's score was unbearable and yet that film is the best reviewed comicbook movie of all time.

No clearly when I speak, I speak for the entirety of this board, you included...didn't you get the memo? Oh and there are critics who feel that Blade Runner has a bad score...what would be your point exactly?

When a score is bad, I don't even notice it. It's merely supplementary. I remember watching Avengers a second time and thinking the score was terrible, but it has never taken me out of the movie.

Good to know. Thankfully I put far more stock into such things.

When it's good, it can definitely supplement the movie, but it just doesn't really matter to the GA. Very few people pay attention to that sort of thing.

Ok, just saw the first awful teaser. I've been avoiding a lot of stuff lately however it just happened on ESPN not too long ago.

Will Smith's terrible "We're some kind of Suicide Squad" is worse than it was from the Comic Con trailer.

So just finished listening to the OST, i actually liked it more than BvS', yup i went there, the Squad theme is so badass and epic and the Harley/Joker related tracks are every Elfman-ish, i love it, sure not everything is great but i really enjoyed it. Cant wait to see how it plays out in the movie.

Calm down, buddy. The edge on your sarcasm is palpable. I get it. Of course, that was a rhetorical question, so your sarcasm kind of missed its mark. And pointing out that those critics gave TDK a fresh rating IN SPITE OF rating the score so low was clearly to make the point that it doesn't matter to most people. Frankly, people like you are the exception.

I'm also thankful that I don't have that problem. When you put so much "stock" into things that belong in one's periphery that you can't even enjoy an otherwise good film, that's a burden I don't envy. Most critics don't even have that problem, and it's their job to put stock into these things.

Lights Out DID have a SS trailer which was neat. But dear god I'm NEVER going to a Friday night showing again.
I truly worry for our youth....
