either way, cut or not, we will know if it was in. they always talk about what they cut out of the theatrical cut.

Once the movie is released we will find out what Joker scene was cut out.

I don't agree with the comparison of BVS to Incredible Hulk. BVS is more comparable with the Avengers. With BVS, DC were going all out, putting Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and Doomsday in one film, and taking from two big stories (TDKR and DOS).

BvS has only two main heroes that's hardly like Avengers, which was a team-up movie featuring 4 main heroes and and three supporting side heroes.

Justice League is like Avengers.

They were starting big and trying to hit the ground running, and failed of course.

If the intention was to hit the ground running as you say, then they should have made their heroes likable, they should have made then look heroic, they should have made a story which will appeal to wide demographic, they should have added humor, one liners and brighter colors.

But they did not want to "hit the ground running" , rather they wanted it to introduce two biggest heroes in one universe, the movie was nothing like Avengers.

Can she be more adorable ? :drl:

wait, so he pisses on her in that scene ? when i watched that confrontation being filmed on youtube there was a moment that looked just like that but it was from behind so i couldn't be sure. i'm ok if they cut that out, because water sports are just uhhhhh....

Jesus seriously they had Joker pisses on Harley scene? O_o

We had the same conversation when the set video was released and now it has resurfaced. If that scene was kept in the movie then we will finally know if Joker pees or not in the movie.

Yeah I think that's a bit too far :funny:

On post credits scene Ayer says to leave the theatre very slowly

Of for sure. They did fail. But no matter what its still the 2nd movie in the franchise.

I think Marvel makes great movies now and their upcoming movies ALL look stellar. Excited for everyone of them.

However, during phase one they put out a lot of mediocre movies between Iron and Avengers. They just happen to really hit with Iron Man first and in time finally got to Avengers which was great.

I agree that Marvel made a lot of mediocre movies early on. I consider a lot of their movies to be quite bland. But BVS was still a movie that was going all out to impress, so that they could hit the ground running. It was DC skipping from their version of IM1 (MOS) right to The Avengers (BVS). A lot of Marvel's movies, especially their earlier ones, are not what I would describe as them going all out. The only ones they have made that are deserving of such a description are IM1, TA, TWS, GOTG (an overrated movie IMO, but there is no denying that it went over very well), AOU and CW.

DC has skipped that phase and is bringing the big names and heavy hitters in and putting them together early (SS and JL next). The failure of such movies would be more comparable with the likes of TA, TSW, GOTG, AOU and CW failing, which would be terrible for Marvel. The likes of Cyborg or The Flash's own movie are more comparable with The Incredible Hulk IMO. I feel that DC and Marvel can afford for such movies to just do ok, but when you go all out by putting the big names together in movies, you have to make sure that they succeed. If they do not, what can you offer that is any better? If your best is not enough, then you are in trouble.

Also King Shark was considered for Suicide Squad but Ayer didn't feel comfortable using a full CGI character in the movie. He opted to use Killer croc instead

Is DanielRPK reliable? I know he posted about seeing it a while back but anything else??? :(

He's legit.

However, to be fair he thought Will Smith was meh at his screening. Others seem to love his character. So it might be one of those things where if you buy Deadshot you'll like the movie more. If you don't well..

So...when are we going to stop comparing BVS to Avengers? Because it's absolutely NOT. it introduced batman as a lead, and WW is a very small supporting role. They cannot be compared.

Justice League is like Avengers.

How will they get any bigger than Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor? The only Avenger comparable to Batman or Superman is Iron Man, and that is because the MCU made him as big a star as them. What is there to suggest that JL will be better or bigger? They have not built up the other characters like the MCU did, so why will the average movie-goer care about them? BVS was supposed to have been the platform to launch the DCEU, and it failed critically. Financially, it was not as successful as they would have liked either. In recent years, two movies with just Batman made over a billion. One with Superman and Wonder Woman should have done better, especially when you look at the lack of competition in the cinema at the time.

If the intention was to hit the ground running as you say, then they should have made their heroes likable, they should have made then look heroic, they should have made a story which will appeal to wide demographic, they should have added humor, one liners and brighter colors.

Of course they wanted to hit the ground running. They had Batman, Superman, WW, Lex Luthor and Doomsday in one movie, taking from two of DC's biggest stories in the process (TDKR and DOS). How much bigger can they get? Zack made the choices he did because he felt that they would be the best way to tell a great story these characters, that would go over well with most of the audience and interest them. If he intentionally made a divisive movie, when he is directing a big blockbuster that is expected to do well at the Box Office, then he is an idiot. He made the movie he did because he thought it would go over well with the majority of the audience and get most people on board with the DCEU.

The best analog for BvS is Iron Man 2. And they both suffered from some of the same problems.

Wait so who's been saying bad things? And what did they say?
the movie sucks, they all suck, jump ship, save yourselves.

or you know, something along those lines. :whatever:

GOTG, and TWS didn't reall start off as heavy hitters. GOTG was more like TIH, a small film that was more experimental for Marvel than TA, and TWS was also more of a surprise hit. Remember, Cap wasn't all that popular with people until that film totally changed people's perception of him. SS itself was also just a quirky, experimental film, but after 2 films which weren't too warmly received and after their expected big money maker didn't hit it as big as they'd hoped, SS just became alot more important. Especially now that its gaining some serious momentum thanks to the marketing.

Wait so who's been saying bad things? And what did they say?

Honestly Im just pissed they cut Joker stuff which helped his storyline. It was rumored he wasn't in much and now they cut even more down even though he's all over the ads and trailers. Sucks...

Lol it's always like that on DC boards nowadays. But seriously how many negative things are out compared to the positive?

We'll see soon I guess. Hopefully it won't be noticeable for those of us who haven't seen it.

Watched a fan review that said you wish he was in it more, but compares his role to Black Panther.

Black Panther stole Civil War imo. He was only on screen 10 mins.

What scenes where cut? The only scene I heard that was removed was that one where he slaps Harley?

Killer croc was the better choice
Ayer wants actors to act not look at stand ins
although you could have just made king shark with practical effects too although it would be as comic accurate
