Barinholtz as Strange just seems so BEYOND out of left field, when everything else casting-wise has been more or less spot-on in the DCCU. Yeah yeah, Eisenberg doesn't resemble the classic image of Lex Luthor, but he does resemble Birthright Lex and he's already played character(s) in that same sort of vein. Momoa may not look like classic Aquaman with the bright blonde hair and the orange/green combo, but he does look like the Peter David Aquaman.

But Barinholtz both looks nothing like the character and, as far as I know, has never played anyone close to that kind of mentality that Strange has. I sense BS on El Maybe's part here.

Yeah, especially considering that this is a movie that could feature a variety of thug-type characters that Barinholtz would be much more suited to.

As for Hoytstroke, I'm not sure if that is for real or not, but I guess I could kinda see it. He's a big, imposing dude that has played soldier-types before. Still a little hard to picture because I've always thought of Slade as an older guy but it's not like Parrack is a kid or anything. Funny though that all the rumors pointed to Joe M. for the role and it ended up going to another True Blood actor (if Mayimbe is even right).

My speculation, but I think all the people in the pic minus Ayer (obvs) are actually on the Suicide Squad team. So it would make sense why Leto, Eastwood, and (possibly) Harris aren't pictured.
