I always felt like Captain Atom should be an older character but honestly, Id rather see Parrack play that role then the Terminator. It would be like a slap to the face of Manu's performance in Arrow.

Well, actually he's a Captain? He can be the same age as Jim, not too much young but with an accurate age according to his status and his character. Specially in the JLAU I see resemblence, mostly in age with Jim Parrick.

It might have something to do with Joker. If I remember correctly, in that story Joker killed his old gang when he decided to reinvent himself by having black and red roses mixed which caused explosion due to some sort of chemical reaction.

Or it could be completely unrelated to "Suicide Squad" and he just likes painting flowers black.

I wonder who is going to score this movie. A project like this feels right up Tom Holkenborg's alley, but I could totally see Ayer reuniting with Steven Price.

I can see it going a GotG route and featuring a lot of... death metal or something.

I love the diversity of the cast of this film and really, the entire DCCU so far, but especially Suicide Squad in terms of characters that have been strongly rumored and confirmed and the actors and actresses of different backgrounds playing said characters. David Ayer has been especially good about this in the past and I can't wait to see what he cooks up for this movie.
