Saw it.

I liked it. It is messy and the whole Enchantress thing made no sense so don't even bother trying to get involved with the plot. But I almost forgot how good Will Smith is. Love Deadshot, Harley, Joker, and Ellllll Diaaaaablo.

Oh, it just made me want to see Affleck's Batman soooo bad. Deadshot, Harley, and Joker in the solo? Oh baby.

Wasn't the biggest issue with Suicide Squad the editing, rather than the actual villain?

The script, character development, action, editing, direction, song choices and villain are the issues with Suicide Squad.

Yeah, if anything SS serves as an effective commercial for the solo Batman movie.

I just wonder if Ben already decided what characters he's going to use in his movie or not.

Regardless of the critical score people seem to love Harley and Deadshot. Joker I'd even say is more positive than negative.

Then again they may surprise us and go with a story in the vein of Court of Owls.

I think Ben has already made up his mind in that department. He just needs a good draft of the script and work from there.

Gotham is doing the Court of Owls for season 3.

So someone answer me this honestly: How is Batman in this movie? More importantly, does he kill people?

From the Deadline article.

But Suicide Squad‘s weaker grades were with the middle-age folks with 25-34 year olds (22%) and 35-49 year olds (17%) giving it a B. That’s who dragged this pic’s CinemaScore down to a B+. Some think that a 60% second weekend decline is imminent. However, BvS didn’t have as many A- scores as Suicide Squad. The other advantage that Suicide Squad has over BvS, is that there’s more kids out of school in the coming weekends. BvS’ business was largely frontloaded because of Easter weekend

Batman is in three scenes. [BLACKOUT]He is in the beginning when he beats up and handcuffs Deadshot so the cops can arrest him, the car chase flashback and him rescuing Harley, and later some of the Squad members get hallucinations from Enchantress about how they wish their lives should have been. Deadshot's hallucination is that he killed the Batman instead of being beaten and arrested. Batman doesn't kill anyone.[/BLACKOUT]

He's flimsily tied into this movie because he brings Deadshot and Harley Quinn to Amanda Waller. They don't show him doing anything but that. The scene with him and Deadshot was used to set up DS's emotional core.
However, there's still something so jarring about seeing him real quick early in the film and then poof - gone.

Would be the first live action appearance since 97 if not, maybe the best batman movie ever on that qualifier alone.

All right. Bout to finally watch this. Im at my local theater which is never crowded and it is PACKED for this show. Lots of kids here.

Wish me luck, y'all.

please allow me

no, he didn't kill any people in this movie

and I think, under the circumstance that he only got several cameo(bit over few minutes ), I think batfleck did a fine job

I heard snowy Gotham looks awesome in this movie, can't wait to see it.

It's not like they cruise around and you get to see the full exterior. It's just Deadshot and his daughter walking like 20ft in front of a store window and then they cut into an alley.
